Today's spoiler somehow "spoilt" the episode for me, because I already knew what the episode was going to be all about! Did everybody else also feel similarly?

Nevertheless, all the high voltage drama kept me engrossed. I found it particularly interesting to watch how different people in the family were reacting to the crisis ... sometimes crises unite people, and at other times crises divide people.

wow the Ansh meme is cute.. and Ma Scindiya 😆😆😆

I am strictly not a fan of hit and miss drama. It irks me to no end that people can just miss each other when their senses should be on high alert. Because most of the episode today was this drama, I am going to write my take a bit differently and just discuss moments that stood out to me in the whole thing.

The first scene if significance was the one just after Aarti runs out when the Bua starts spewing her nonsense. It astounds me that someone can be so bitter so as to not feel the worry at the loss of a child. But actually the capacity I am most enjoying Bua's character in, is that of a foil for Gayatri. She makes me look at Gayatri differently every time, just by being what Gayatri is trying to be but fails. Gayatri wants to be cold and calculative, the way she thinks her husband wants and Bua is like that. But as we saw today, after all her bitterness, Gaya's scene ends on a worried note, where she wonders where Ansh could have gone, with genuine concern. There is a kind woman in there that has been repressed and that is why her cruelty is so stressed and OTT; she is faking it and unlike Paridhi, does not know how to do a good job of it.

The second scene is of course when Aarti tears outside and starts looking for an auto. She clearly wants nothing to do with Yash as she feels it is better and safer for her son for her to shut him out. But it is in situations like this that I do admire Yash's calm resilience. He knows how to get her in the car with the least resistance from her and the least time wasted. He simply tells her in plain and simple words that they have to find Ansh. At once Aarti realises they both want the same thing and she goes with him. This is going to be part of the process of ridding Yash of the total blame, because really the way he dealt with Ansh was wrong but it is also wrong to assume that Ansh ran away from school for this reason. If they start playing the blame game, it could be because Aarti agreed to get married, or because the Dubeys made her, or because Prashant left...actually, yes, let's blame it all on him! 😃 But here, Yash makes her realise it is not a situation for tu-tu-main-main. It is a time for hum and hume Ansh ko dhoondha hain.

Ok I am sorry but Dubey said nothing wrong there and it showed that the Scindias are hyper sensitive and guilty about this whole thing. Gayatri was trying to be all cool and worry what society would think, but I think it is a cover because she seemed genuinely happy, and not just thank god our face got saved happy, when Aarti called about Ansh. Dubey said humara potha, which could easily include the Scindias, and even if it didn't does the fact that Ansh is the Dubey's grandson preclude him from being the Scindias'? No, that was all SP's guilt talking because he knows well enough that Ansh has not been treated with kindness and acceptance. Defense is the best offense so he shouted at Dubey before Dubey could accuse him of losing his grandson.

Paridhi dug her own grave today. Full stop. Prateek is not going to be happy and this time he is going to show it. It is never a good idea to take nice people for a ride just because they are nice, because at some point they will also feel used and cheated the way Prateek will today. Although he has fault in this too. He has not paved a clear path for her to work when he promised he would, and on top of it is getting by on making her live up to her maska. That is also not fair and I think we have another case of the boy who cried wolf. But this issue was a long time coming.

Is bharosa Yash's favourite word or something? Give it a rest, buddy! She will trust you and fate when both of you have earned it! But I did like that moment when he put his hand on her shoulder. For a second I thought it was to comfort her because she was going ballistic on the guy, telling him to look carefully, but it really was only to get her attention to the water bottle. I thought it was interesting that Yash spotted the object first while Aarti spoke to the right person first. It kind of echoed their personalities as well.

And the rest of my post is humbly dedicated to Manju! What a woman, what a human being! I just loved how much meaning they brought to this little cameo. Here we have Ansh who has been brought with much fanfare and promise to his naye papa's big house, where he receives mostly alienation and misunderstanding. He watches his mother get berated and he too is punished for no fault of his own. We have been making excuses, saying that it has only been a few days etc...but in just a few hours, maybe even less, Manju reminded Ansh of his mother. She gave him that sense of security. When that can come from a complete stranger out of sheer humanity what is the Scindia's explanation? They are so concerned with their status that they can't see past it and this lady, who has next to nothing, who far from differentiating between eraser and rubber does not know any English, cares for Ansh with so much maternal impulse.

This is one of the things I love about this show, the characters are never isolated in their family structure but the status quo is always being challenged by outside forces. Just a few days ago, Aarti and Yash were arguing about schools and the difference between big and small ones, it seemed so important and it was, but suddenly we are confronted with this woman who is so out of the sphere of any of those problems and the perspective shifts again. So good.

But they also showed the way the promise of money can turn the heads of otherwise kind and good people, the way it did with the husband. It was a very interesting commentary all around, I felt. I just hope my new fave, Manju didn't give in to the money-making plot because she didn't seem to happy with it. In fact, it might be her that AarYa see when Yash slams the door open tomorrow.

I feel they are extending this drama because they are going to show Yash really doing something dramatic to save Ansh, both to make him rise in Ansh's esteem as super papa and to help Aarti and us reconcile to what happened, though it wasn't totally Yash's fault. I just hope they wrap this up by tomorrow.
