i know this probably sounds lame, but even though i am an NRI, i don't know how to fluently speak hindi. when i went to india 2 years ago, i started watching Geet. That is how i got hooked on indian soap operas, and GC.
In the past two years i have learnt soo much hindi! here are some of the phrases i have learned watching geet and pv.
- aab isme meri kya galti ti?
- nok jhok
- something about khurana khandan ka khoon
- aap geet ko itna bara ilzaam lagaya?
- shikait (true story - had noo idea what that meant)
- agar tumhe pata ta ka tum uske zindagi mein agle din gayab honewala ho, to phir kyon shadhi wali raath uske saath badhayin?
-jab mein tumhare madat ke, kya isme koi muksat tha?
has anyone else learned hindi a la GC?
