The time is back for celebrities to get into limelight by putting on their dancing shoes for the very popular reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, produced by BBC Entertainment, wherein they team up with a choreographer to dance to scintillating tunes. But this time around, there is a change in scheme of things as the show will air on Colors, not Sony Entertainment Television.

Now, there has been quite a lot of buzz lately regarding the contestants' list. has learned that popular faces of television, Gurmeet Choudhary, the lead of Zee TV's Punar Vivah and Anas Rashid, who is presently playing the lead in Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum, have been approached for this edition of Jhalak'

When contacted Anas Rashid, he said, "Yes, I was approached for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. However, I did not want to take it as my show Diya Aur Baati Hum is doing well and in any way I am going through a hectic.

Gurmeet on the other hand said, "No, I have not got any call from them."

Furthermore, we also hear that names like Meghna Malik, Avika Gor, Giaa Manek, Hina Khan, Bharti Singh, Manish Paul etc have also been short listed.

Well, let's see if these big names make it to the final contestants' list'

i am very very happy that anas did not accept it bcozzz these reality shows r fixed & winner is pre decided by the channel for eg last year sushant singh rajput was the actual winner of jhalak but they declared chang as the winner

i am sure ANAS will not take this show bcaz he wont b distracting himself from Diya aur Baati ...at one time he does only one thing ...and i just dont like this stupid show jahalak.

i am also glad that anas isn't planning to do the show...would love to have see him dance - but not at the cost of his performance in DABH
