I had posted the question long back.. And also they changed the boy from what they showed in the first few weeks and he was missing for over a month..

This 2 girls and then one boy funda even I did'nt get but I did read somewhere Ekta wanted three kids in the show who are 9 - 7 and 5
The eldest never looked 9 even if u see kids of this generation who are well nutrition also she looks 13 easily

The 7 year old seems OK , but teh boy he hardly speaks just nods head he is total mis match...

This 3 kid funda is ridiculous.. The boy is just not in the picture...

The three kids thing seems unintentional to me. Or maybe it was done unconsciously by the writers but I don't think they are sending out any message deliberately.

Indian society is still obsessed with boys even in urban area...last month one of the managers in my office had a baby boy after 2 girls...and the girls are aged about 7 and 10...
And I am speaking of educated MNC employee in a metro city.
Another of my relative had 2 girls but her mom in law pressurised her to go for a 3rd kid...even after doctors advised her against it.
She had twin daughters in 3rd attempt...now they have ended up with 4 daughters 😆😆😆

aren't all the three kids wale three shows from Sony?
if u see no problem with the BALH kids then why blame the KHTV or Parvarish kids? :p

there are many couples who go for three kids... n son / daughter isn't important to them...

I myself am a third child after the 1st born being a son n thn a daughter!
my dad sis has three sons
n his bro 2 sons n a daughter as the 2nd born

some pple love and adore kids... some stop at 1 some go as far as 4!!

now if u say that am talking abt an older generation

thn I can even give an eg of our very own generation!
my sister! her 1st born is a girl... n when she was expecting her 2nd... v both shopped together for girly stuff but god had a boy in mind for her!
n she has always had a mindset of having 3kids
I see nothing wrong with it

it all depends on the couple... how many kids they want...
as not being a part of their life v shouldn't pass comments on their lifestyle knowing nothing about them :p

I wudnt have bothered to type all that if the talk wud have remained till te serial... but serials influencing real pple was mentioned

I still don't get the serial influencing real pple funda... seriously??!!
if u really think pple have evovled n are much better than before
thinking has changed etc etc
then am sure such pple shud also the mind to figure out themselves what's right n what's wrong and should they let influence themselves and what shouldn't!

atleast I kno I don't get my rolemodels/idols from television... I see it as fiction to enjoy and forget
maybe becoz I kno how to live my life n have good "real" pple around me to influence my life rather than some fictional character ;)

Maybe they believe in the adage...the more the merrier????

But seriously it could be that 3 is Ekta Maiya's lucky number... remember she goes a lot by astrology...etc...

Just joking...even I was wondering about that...In today's times every working class family believes in only 1 or at the most 2 kids...And Pradeep is not even in the upper middle-class group...

The show is portraying so many issues of EMI ( the monthy instalments issue also ) and all so three kids and financial situation do not gell..

And what they want to highlight with teh three kid idea I really wish to know if they keep taking about making ends meet..
Kids are exposed to so much they want so many things its a pressure on parents.. so having 3 kids in a show they should have some meaning to it...

I am not taking abt the fact that there are two girls and then they had a boy but yes there is some seriousness abt this 3 kids when they have to struggle so much so there should be explanation with that,,

I wasn't doing any personal attacks here or neither am I trying to differentiate between older and new generation. This is a fictional show and therefore, I was trying to find out a logic since CVs haven't portrayed any strong roles to all 3 kids, infact like many have already said, youngest one was missing for months and then came back now. He doesn't even have any significant dialogues, may be the story would develop after sometime where we would get to see at least some scenes revolving around him.

if u read my rantings (as they may seem)... it was directed toward the ones telling abt pple having more kids coz they keep trying for a boy

u didn't say it... no issues :)

as the for kid missing for a month... wasn't that during the exam time?
I wud happily overlook a kid or even the lead missing from the show if the reason is education :)

now it's the vacation... so u will hopefully get to see all three of them making anu go gaga :p
