I too at first felt that jai admitting that he sees her in all his rels was as good as a confession, but then the more i see it and think about it, what hits me more is the dialogue that precedes this one i.e. nah chahte hue bhi hum is shaadi mein bandh chuke hain. for bani and the mental state that she is in, as it is not much is sinking in, she is trying to block out whatever he is saying, if u start off only by reiterating that u are being forced to stay in this marriage even though u do not actually mean it that way, she is going to remember and register only that and not what follows.

She's in shock at this point... the one thing that is good is that they really love each other and their actions before they thought they were going to die said it all.... But yeah I really thought the last line was the confession scene we were all waiting for... But then again, not sure it's dramatic enough..
