Has Vikram lost interest in Karikalan?

His period Tamil flick seems to have suddenly taken a backseat

_Vikram's currently in London, shooting for Thaandavam with Vijay. On the filmi front, he also has a Bollywood flick titled David lined up for which he's already started shooting. All these new projects seem to have put his Tamil film Karikalan on hold. A source says, "Though Vikram has completed some work on Karikalan, other projects kept coming up. He got busy with one schedule of David, for which he shot in Mangalore. And now, as Thaandavam came up, he's off to London to shoot the film. This will mostly be shot abroad. No one is sure when he'll restart work on Karikalan."
The film, which is a period flick, requires him to have a hefty physique while his look in Thaandavam is a much slimmer look. When CT got in touch with Karikalan director Kannan about the status of the film, he says, "We have completed 25 percent of the flick as of now. The film will restart in June."
