What is common between Ash, DP and Bappida?

Deepika Padukone, Bappi Lahiri and Aishwarya Rai BachchanBappi Lahiri's penchant for disco dancer-esque songs and tonnes of gold is the stuff Bollywood legends are made of.

So it was kind of understood that the Ooh La La hitmaker would have a field day during his son Bappa Lahiri's wedding and other ceremonies.

While he wore a rather subdued sherwani with his favourite gold accessories and sunglasses for the wedding, Bappida couldn't resist pulling out all the big guns for the reception party with a heavily embroidered gold sherwani AND gold jewellery.

What struck us though, was the resemblance his sherwani bore to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan [ Images ] and Deepika Padukone's [ Images ] respective Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla salwar kameezs that the actresses wore on separate occasions last year.

^^^All 3 outfits designed by them? 😲
Btw I think Ash should change her designer from Abu-Sandeep. They make her look like a tent.

I agree! I think she should try someone new and young so they can give her that "refreshing" feel. As much as I didn't like Neeta Lulla--I think she finally got it right with Aishu for a few disasters. Maybe Aishu can go back to that!

Now Neeta Lulla seems like a world class designer compared to whatever Ash is wearing these days. Abu-Sandeep live in another era.
