OK i know IF is a entertainment site and it doing quite good to entertain us with many ways.

but don't you think GUYS IF ranking system has some negative points.

1 i comment on my fav profile from last two years on regular basis once in a day .but he is out of 20. in spite of having tremendous popularity outside the IF ..

reason he is not DOING any shows thats why he has only mature fans ..but i am talking those who do youth shows and have fan following of youth ..they make 100 of ID's to increase HIS fav actor/actresses fans list ..

they spend many hours to comment on there fav profile..my NIce is fan of a actor who is in top 5 and she has more than 100 ID's ..through wich she comment more than 8 times in a day..

almost 8 times from other same with many other also..

it has created increase in no of mids who don't left a stone to bash his FAv opponent.. and has totally increased the no OF mIDs ..

AND it also unfair to those fans who genuinly comment on their FAV profile on there own ID...

what are your views GUYS.

where r the profiles ?

and what difference does it make what there ranks r on IF? People who hire these actors don't do it based on the IF ranking...

i really don't get what ur point is...

Are you talking about that ranking thing that appears on the right hand side of the home page?
Does that ranking thing have any importance? 🤔

YES i am talking about that ..one .how people make multiple ID's to comment on there Actor profile and use them as mid.

Hell with IF ranking ..i also said how it encourage to teenagers to make multiple ID's .and comment on ACTORS profile and

also uses as MIDS..

WHO is going to see IF ranking..

but i clearly said in my post how it encourages teenagers to make multiple ID's and many others ..

I didn't know these rankings existed unless some soap fans obsessed over it. I'd forgotten them again until I saw this topic. I think it effects only those people who take such things seriously. When they grow up they will look back and wonder why they were so obsessed with silly stars. Just a passage (or so I hope).

OK so...ur point is that its encouraging MIDs in IF...hmm..that could be possible...but anyways i don't watch any of these soaps so I don't know most of these TV actors...

Can u give me a link to their profiles...I want to see what u r talking about..😛

These IF rankings are so silly to begin with, they neither define the talent nor the merit of an actor, but merely are proof of how much obsessed and active the fans are. The whole meaning of healthy competition is lost, people are more concerned on commenting on the articles of their fav actors and with limited no. of comments allowed, they dont comment on any other genuine articles. Added beauty are the CM rankings, which decide how active the forum is. All this is to make the fans come to IF regularly in this pretext. There are fight going on constantly ruining the atmosphere. MIDs created in bulk to increase fan base. so on and so forth. It makes sense when a student is announced topper after a genuine cut throat competition or an actor is honoured with an award over many other performers. But here it is neither genuine nor fake, it is madness. I have seen fan groups aiming for 1000 comments for a an article if their fav actor is tagged, even if the article is about something other than the show. But it is most unlikely IF will get rid of this as it forces fans visit login and post. How I wish this ranking system is erased totally.
