Best female contestant across all seasons! - Page 2

Though for me, personally I like Vrushali because I can connect to her dancing style. That NEED to be expressive and feel the music to the fullest. That's the uninhibited quality I appreciate in Vrushali. And her grace has been unmatchable by any other female contestant in my opinion. Her body language, from her hands to her toes, was just ALL grace...even her personality.

However, Shakti and Alisha are definitely much stronger dancers overall, than Vrushali. Alisha is just ALL spunk and confidence! 👏 And of course her ability to really shine in any dance style she is given whether it's an Indian style or an MJ style. She rocked the dance floor! We really haven't gotten a SOLID dancer like her in a long time on DID. And the fact that she did all that despite of being untrained...she was too awesome.

Shakti strength WAS her strength only. She's just so damn strong and well trained...it was hard for any other contestant (male of female) to beat her in this contemporary style. The only other person who could beat her at this style was Mayuresh (and Jai perhaps). Both Alisha and Shakti have that CRISPNESS as dancers. Sure, Shakti isn't versatile overall, but she's got international standards with what she can do with her contemporary style. I don't really think any other female contestant had that kind of an international standard with their dancing on DID. Period.

And word to whoever said that Rajasmitha and Falon do not fall in the same league. So I actually think it's pretty unfair to compare these contestants, because they all have their own strengths somewhere. And I would include Kruti and Amrita in this list too. The question of who is the BEST can't really be answered I think...I think the question instead, can be who is your personal favourite...lol. And for me that has to be Vrushali...simply because I haven't seen that kind of feminine GRACE in a female dancer after dancers like Madhuri Dixit and all. It's a rare quality. And just the way these people can express themselves...I find it inspiring because it shows me of their NEED to dance. Dancing is just ingrained into their very body language and soul as a means of expressing themselves. 😍

Also, edit: This season there was a lack of solid female contestants. However, if I had to choose a strong female contestant from this season...I'd choose Sneha G over Rajasmitha. Now Sneha is a unique dancer. She was far better than Rajasmitha in all styles whether it be arial, contemporary or hip hop. Sneha G is a much better hip-hop (as well as an overall) dancer than Rajasmitha in my opinion. Sneha has more of a personality on stage...more of her own individuality..plus her dance movements are much better too. She was the only one who could match up to Pradeep with the hip hop genre. I think she's been the best female contestant we've had this season, hands down.
