IP REDUX ; The Dominoe Effect !! Updated

Tant, "The Dominoe Effect".Hmm. Nice title. Yeah, but you know what??? Today's episode was not at all about the "Triangle" but it was all about "Class" by Arnav. Rather I would say, it was not about class but about "HEART" which is way more important than "Class". Yes, IMO this is the track ahead and thank you so much for leaving that part for me to explain and your wish is my command. 😃 I loved the explanation of the wallet scene and the symbolism behind the Key and the sacred thread. Just loved that. Symbolism as you know I am not fond of but love reading it; logically all I can say is that confusion will be more intricate now with ASR linking the wallet and key and Shyaam's getting hold of the documents as it was evident today that the papers do have a connection to Khushi or may be the she is the channel for Shyaam to reach to the papers. Let's see what comes of it when the track unfolds. I don't need to say this again but still will say it, your analysis is TANTASTIC. 👏 👏 👏

Before I get into my 5% message of today's episode I would want your attention to my analysis of April 11^th where I explained why Bubbli fits in this track and what is her purpose. [Yes, Bubbli do fit in and that's what the confirmation been given in the Aakash scene].

Excerpts from April 11th Analysis;-

Today's episode talked about how her "Dreams" dried up like a raisin in the sun. The only question that today's episode asked - "Did Khushi's Dream dry up / Like a raisin in the sun"??? Here the emphasis was not given on the appearance or the sweetness of the raisin, so the description isn't as significant as an image as it is as a simile, basically "a figure of speech". Why many authors compared a dream deferred to a raisin? We can see the raisin, which used to be a moist, taut, healthy-looking grape, has shriveled up to become a raisin just like once Khushi's "Dream" was bubbly, cheerful, colorful like a grape but now it has become like a "Raisin", a dream deferred shrivels up and turns dark because the sun (read: Time) has baked it. How truthful is it, isn't it??? Yes, time and again her dream was shattered and thrashed and crushed by Arnav Singh Raizada and like the sun bakes the grapes into a raisin, Khushi's dream have become like a raisin with time. Like the raisin, her dream has been on hold for a long time-consequently and she has been transformed into something, which we cannot relate to now; yes, we don't relate to this Khushi, you know why??? Because she is transformed now into something that she never was before. Unemotional. Can anyone blame her??? No. No one. Like people wouldn't believe that "Raisins" and "Grapes" are the same as their appearance are so different, same way, the Khushi we knew 10 months back and the Khushi we know now have hell and heaven of a difference and time and situation is to be blamed and no one.

This is where the small girl fits in. She came to resemble Khushi, that's why her name is "Bubbli" as in to represent our "Bubbly Khushi"; she loves "Kishmish" only to realize Khushi that her dreams are not withered and they can be achieved and there is still chance; she came to prove how Khushi is matured than her age; Hope like the last paragraph of the poem - which is a metaphor, that when your emotions are bottled up and your dreams are shattered then your heart might explode or can this small girl bring back the real Khushi here and save her from EXPLODING??? Well only time will tell and I guess that is why she is here.

After a long time, I have seen an "Episode" where the message is delivered with so much thinking. Kudos to the writers who emphasized that Khushi's "Dreams" dried up like a "Raisin" with time.

When I explained the "Raisin" analogy to deferred dreams, I didn't go ahead beyond the track as I wanted to see what was in the writer's mind. We need some 2/3 episodes to figure out the exact reason for the introduction of a particular character in a track. I knew Bubbli is here to resemble Khushi and her importance is NOT to make ASR realize about Khushi's childish action but about Khushi's maturity, her upbringing and more over to make him realize the below things:-

1. What is the difference between Class and Money v/s Heart???

2. What does it feel like when your dreams are deferred???

3. The difference between Guptas v/s Raizadas

4. The difference between Rich v/s Poor

5. The difference between "Khoon ke rishte" v/s "Dil ke rishte"

The favor factor:-

Many of you know about the popular talent show called "The X Factor." Right??? The judges study the different contestants and try to figure out who has that indefinable "something" that makes them stand out. You can't necessarily put your finger on it. It's not just talent, looks or personality. There's something about them that gives them an advantage. Generally the judges say, "I don't know what it is, but you've got it." They call it the "X Factor." In the same way, every person has something in them that gives them an advantage in this life. There is something about you that makes you stand out, something that draws opportunity, something that causes you to overcome obstacles, to accomplish dreams. Various scripture calls it "the gracious hand of God." It's God's favor. It's His blessing. You can't put your finger on it. It's not just your talent, your education, your hard work, your money, your class. You could call it "the favor factor." Why I am saying this??? It resembles the saying - "har chamakti cheez sona nehin hoti". Yes, all that glitters is not gold. A person in not been noticed by money, class but they are noticed by virtue. Yes, VIRTUE and this is where today's message and episode fits it. What "SOMETHING" that separates the Guptas from the Raizadas??? Kudos to the writers who have thought this track and brought up the "Class" with the "Heart" and I surely am all for it.

"The family is a haven in a heartless world".

Family. What is a family??? It's been said that we don't choose our families but it is God's gift to us as we are to them. Isn't it??? When a child is born they are secured in the arms of the family members. When a child grow up they share their bittersweet moments in this family; they have their good times as well as their bad times; Sometimes it's the irritation also that makes you come out of the family but at the end of a day, it's the warm touch and embrace of the elders that makes you feel homesick; it's the scolding of the elders that keeps you at your toes; it's the same family who stand against the evil when they try to hurt their near ones. This is family. This is where that girl fits in; this is where Bubbli fits in.

Yes, I have already said that it's the track of ASR to realize the importance of the basic nature of a family; the basic nature of "HUMANITY"; the importance of "heart"; the importance of "making a difference".

We see the girl Bubbli today. She was reminded of her status quo through a Cross Word. (I won't go into the portrayal of showing her one day in a vernacular newspaper and another day in a scrabble as Tant has already mentioned that). Yes, she was reminded that she is an "Orphan" and also that she became an Orphan when she was 4 yrs. old like Khushi became an Orphan when she was 8 yrs. old. Like Khushi, even Bubbli had no one, absolutely no one to call her own. When Payal volunteered to apologize for the unknowing mistake then Maami insulted her of her actions whereas we see Anjali trying to console the fact that this little girl was reminded of her statusquo. Payal immediately uttered - "hum usse samjhatein hain" and didn't say - "hum maafi maangtein hain". This is called an upbringing and this is called facing the reality. Yes, this scene took me straight to June 8^th episode. That day, when because of Khushi, Payal's wedding was cancelled and we see Khushi to come out of her torment and worry, has fried piles of Jalebis like she does always to get rid of the status. In the morning we see Bauji on knowing Khushi's mental status approached and sat beside her with the intention to explain the fiasco and make her understand "Samjhana" the importance of the situation; the importance of the damage that Khushi in her impulsiveness had caused to the family and that the family will face the consequences here after all united. Bauji, came closer and sat beside her and said - "bhale hi hum tumhare sagge Amma Bauji nehin hain, bhale hi Payal tumhari saggi behen nehin hain ... Kono farak nehin padta ee sab se, humri baat yaad hain naa jo humne sikhaye tumse???" and she replied with conviction - "Khoon ke rishton se dil ke rishte bade hote hain". He then made her realize why she took the whole respnsiblity of Payal's "Dowry" matter on her own shoulder and why she didn't inform him at all??? He also continued saying it's also his fault and that he should have never bowed down in front of the demand for dowry. This the first difference between the Raizadas and the Guptas.

This is the difference on the "Treatment" with an Orphan; this is the difference how the Raizadas have been treating Bubbli and how the Guptas have been treating Khushi. Both have not hidden the fact that the kids are orphan but one have sent Bubbli to "Boarding School" and the other have given their Khushi the "Haven" in a heartless world. One has given Bubbli a secured, plastic and cosmetic upbringing and other have given their Khushi the warmth of a Mother's lap, the hand of a Father on her head, the daily companionship from a Sister. One has showered "Money" on Bubbli's upbringing 'coz they are rich and elite and the other have showered "Love" on Khushi's upbringing even being poor. This is the first difference between the Guptas and the Raizadas that ASR is going to experience.

Bubbli is a small girl who had lost her parents when she was 4. She never needed a "boarding school". All she needed was a "Family". A family where she will have the warmth of a Mother's touch; where she will have a brother for company; where she will have a Father who will teach her the disciplines and virtues; a Grandma who will read her the "Bedtime Stories"; a Bhabhi who will take care of her and be her friend at the same time; A secured Haven is all what she needed; in turn what she got??? She got a boarding school with a bunch of classmates who will talk about their families in their own leisure and recess and this small girl every day and night will be reminded of her lost parents. WOW. This is what is called Humanity, right Mr. Raizada??? I will see when your sister will have her own kid you keep the baby with you or send the baby away from your Mansion. If this is what you call "CLASS" then you have no idea what is "HEART" all about. A child wants to live in the heart of their family members and not in the elite society. Yeah, she is rude today and why she not be??? Do you realize why she clings on to Aakash all the time??? Her entire dreams that a child has, is being crushed like a "raisin" in the sun. Remember here technically what Aakash is to Bubbli, Payal is to Khushi but what we see the relation here is "what Bauji is to Khushi", "Aakash is to Bubbli". Payal is nowhere nearby. NO. All Bubbli wants is the attention of Aakash because she visualizes him as a father figure like Bauji is to Khushi. (Thank God you have changed A for Admirable to A for Alligator). What Khushi got is the love of her Bauji, Amma, Payal and Buaji and here Bubbli have only the "Genuine" love by Aakash whereas all others are "cosmetic". Yes, they are. This is the second difference that ASR will experience in this track.

This is not about Bauji getting better or Khushi's irritating ASR, this track is for ASR to realize the difference between "CLASS" v/s "HEART". See the precap by Maami. She said - "tumhe bhar bhar ke khilayenge". What he does not understand that it's not the status that matters in a relationship but it's the "Apnapan" that matters in a relationship. He has to understand why Khushi turned out the way she is and why being a kid Bubbli turned out the way she is now. He has to understand why Khushi said - "Aaj hum phir se anath ho gaye" on the wedding night. No, it didn't mean she lost her maayka but it meant she lost the "Authority" to live in a "Mother's Heart". Yes, remember that scene after the "Roop suhana lagta hain" dance, after the "Dargah" scene, where Garimaji embraced Khushi saying - "Bahut lahoon peeti ho tum humra" and Khushi said - "Aap ka hi beti hoon, aap ka hi peeoongi naa". This is called a place in a Mother's Heart and ASR needs to understand this difference of just being adopted and giving a place in the family and making them one of your own. He needs to understand "Humanity" is a person's moral infrastructure and not the "Ability to pay".

It's the heart that matters, the willingness to make one your own unconditionally and not the Class. He needs to understand that true family is not of blood but the love and respect like Richard Bach said - "The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof".

Then cometh the second puzzle - "All that glitters is not gold".

The second puzzle in the crossword interested me. When Bubbli said- "har chamatki cheez dash nehi hoti", Maami indicated her with her ear rings; yes it's Sona. But this scene took me straight to the scene where Naani defined Khushi as "Khara Sona". I loved this comparison by the CVs. What Maami meant is "Money" and what Naani meant is "Heart and Character".

This is the third difference that ASR needs to experience. If he doesn't know what Khushi is made of then how can his repentance be more painful??? How will he understand how cruel Shyaam was and what he did to Bauji and Khushi's family??? He has to. Khushi knows the Raizadas from the bottom of her heart, she knows what they are made of, she knows what their principles are, she knows what builds their characters and this is why she valued Anjali's "superstition" when the Mangalsutra tore off; why she valued ASR's love for Anjali and decided to keep quiet??? The same way, ASR needs to know the Guptas; what they are made of; what their principles are; what values they hold of daughters; what he had done to them when he released the video; why they had to come to Delhi and why Khushi's Bauji's shop was mortgaged; how they had fight together for this "So called" orphan; what builds their characters and then, only then, he can understand Khushi , what she is made of and why she reacts certain way she does. How "BIG HEART" the Guptas have and how BIGGER a character is Garima and Bauji who had not only sheltered Khushi but have treated her as their own child and why Khushi treats them as their own and their opinions matter to her; why her existence is associated with them; He needs to understand that despite being poor they have this "Golden Heart" with which they have embraced Khushi and that is what matters in the end and not "Class". He needs to understand that "Class" never makes a person but the "Golden Heart" is what makes a person for as Ralph Waldo Emerson says - "We are rich only through what we give, and poor only through what we refuse".

Game of Dominoes: What an apt description to an episode which was the setting for the upcoming MU clearance. But, you found so much to write from this filler episode. A-mazing...So let me say my daily mantra "Fantastic post, Tanthya"

Below is my analysis:

Key of Truth

I have always thought that when we start living with a person, the whole perspective of the way we perceive that person can change. Living together gives you a deeper insight into that person's behavior. We become attune to that person, we start understanding the person's actions, or start predicting his reaction to certain situations. It becomes a kind of an advantage, so much so that a simple eye-lock becomes sufficient to convey certain messages.

Shyam:

Till date, Shyam had one advantage over Arnav. He had lived with Khushi and her family. This has given him great insight into their values and principles. This had also increased his understanding of her and her family behavioral patterns. He had shared tea and had late night talks with her. Even though the dynamics of their relationship was different, he knew Khushi more than Arnav. He knows how her mind works and what her actions will be for a particular situation. He knows how important family is to her, he knows she will never create a ruckus or will reveal the truth to Raizadas. Hence even though, its his fear that Anjali should not know the truth, he has continued his illicit behavior towards Khushi.

Unknowingly, Khushi has always proved an ally to Shyam intentions. She has saved him time and again, be it by not revealing the truth to Anjali because of her paranoia, be it by not telling the truth to Arnav because of Anjali pregnancy, be it by telling Shyam the truth about her marriage or be it by helping Shyam take the impression of the key to the locker today. That key was important and that file has been Arnav's advantage over Shyam. Shyam was aware of this because without knowing what he was against, he really could not move forward in his quest against Arnav or progress his ill-intentions towards Khushi. Even though the key was important, it would still have been difficult for him to reach the locker but here again Khushi proved an ally. Through her innocent actions,she is taking the king out of his kingdom, leaving it open to the enemy for attack. Once Shyam finds the file, Arnav will lose that advantage over him,making them equals.

Arnav:

Arnav's relationship with Khushi was way different than her relationship with Shyam but he really did not understand her. Yes,he knew her, he knew about her innocence, about her values but he really had never fathom the depth of her principles or her values. He did not have any inkling about her behavior or her reactions to certain situations. This was because he really did not understand the dynamics of her family or was not aware of how strong the base of her family is, the base that has always given Khushi the strength to go against anything even the mighty ASR. This was his disadvantage against Shyam and this was the reason it was kid's play for Shyam to manipulate Arnav's thinking against Khushi.

Today, Arnav is heading towards the Guptas, that turf where it all started. He is going to get a first hand experience of all those things that make Khushi Kumari Gupta. He is going to be made aware of values that push Khushi, that influence her. He is going to perceive the principles behind her thinking and her actions. He is finally going to understand her behavior, her values and her principles. He is going to get an inkling to her caring nature and he is going to comprehend that it was not a "Natak", never was, that it was always real. He just might finally see Khushi Kumari Gupta for what she is. This will increase his confusion, this is going to shake his beliefs but this is also going to result in Shyam losing that advantage he right now has over Arnav but Arnav is also going to lose that advantage,the advantage he has with the file and this might just push him over the edge.

Khushi:

Khushi really does not have any idea what she is going to come back to when she returns to RM. For her Shyam is someone who is not of much importance, someone who is "Meethi daalo aur bhool jao" kind of a person. He is an irritant who is supposed to forgotten as soon as the moment passes. Yes he is a problem, but her bigger problem is Arnav. Her priority is only about finding the truth from Arnav and all her actions are geared towards it. Now,she might just get her wish. She might not know the whole truth but she might get an inkling which might lead her to Shyam. She is a smart girl, she has connected the dots before with Shyam and she might this time too with only a small hint.

Till date, we have seen Khushi tolerant about Shyam's actions. She has never given them importance, she has ignored them because she more importance to family and Anjali's pregnancy then her discomfiture. But will she be this tolerant when she realizes the role Shyam has played for her current situation or how much Shyam's actions are affecting Arnav, how disturbing they are for Arnav. Today we saw Khushi using words like "Pati Parmeshwar" and "Pati-vratha". She is a girl for whom marriage is very important and she is not a person who will use these words if she did not believe in them.

When she knows the truth, will we see her becoming Savitri who fought with Yama for her husband, will we see her becoming Sita who gave Agni-Pariksha for her character or will we see her holding only Arnav responsible for not believing her? Methinks if it comes to her character and her husband, she will not stop at anything, she will fight the Yama, she will give the Agni--Pariksha, she will become the conduit through which truth will be revealed, she will become the wall that will protect Arnav from inner as well as outer threats and she will forgive Arnav, whether now or later, we will have to wait and watch.

Thus, Shyam and Arnav are soon going to be on equal standing but I really liked how this played out. Shyam and Arnav, the important players of the game were using manipulations, cunningness, smart and wit to achieve their objectives but it was Khushi, the innocent player ,who through her juvenile actions is actually pushing them or guiding these two players towards the big revelation.

The most important thing and which is going to play a big role in the coming confrontation is the total unawareness of all the three players of the actual true relationship the other two share: Khushi is unaware of Arnav-Shyam, Arnav is unaware of Shyam-Khushi and Shyam is unaware of the Arnav- Khushi. But the biggest player in his game is going to be Arnav-Khushi's relationship which has come a long way from the day these two got married in that isolated temple.

The whole dynamics of their relationship has changed. Now they have started getting used to each other, accepting each other, needing each other, understanding little tidbits about each other, caring for each other. Their relationship has deepen and it is very different from the way it had started. There is not going to be any winner in his game but this relationship that is going to take the maximum blow from the coming confrontation. Whether this relationship will be able to survive the test of hardships coming across its way, whether it bloom or fade away, only time will tell.

PS:

1. Is there some upcoming long-hair competition for all the male leads of this show or is this for the ME?
2. Are English and Hindi interchangeable languages? We have seen Payal playing Scrabble, Bubbli solving Hindi puzzles, how soon before we see Hari Prakash conversing in English?

So, Tanthya they want inputs for their strategies, huh? Interesting, I have a long list:

1. Plan your story and let it flow through the characters you have already set. Let them merge together. Stop changing your characters for your story and vice versa. Just be consistent
2. Use monologues. Half of your audience watch the episodes only for entertainment, not for mental stimulation.
3. Do not forget that the villain is as important as the main leads. We initially hated your villain, make it so that we hate him again.
4. Remember we watch the same episode multiple times. Every small thing, every minute thing gets noticed.
5. Your initial success was because you were different from other SP dramas. Maintain that and you will maintain the success.
6. Last but not the least, all of you are talented, approach it in the right way and you will reach the height of stardom.

Ms. Bubbly - no one knows why she is here - but if we go by the reports then she is here to bring Arnav Khushi together. When I see her - I can see all 3 - Anjali, Arnav and Khushi in her. She is Khushi - because like Khushi she is an orphan - she has no one of her own and has been taken up by the Raizada's. But when it comes to dealing with her loss - she is like Arnav. She is not bubbly in character - she is serious like him - she deals with her pain in the way Arnav does. She is like Anjali - because she holds on to Akash just like Anjali holds on to Arnav and Shyam. She is possessive just like her. Now since she is a mix of the three important characters - and I feel somehow more closer to Arnav - she will act as an important catalyst in Arnav Khushi equation.

Okay so Shyam has definitely made his move - which makes me very happy. Thank god he finally got the key - otherwise I was going to pull my hair over the key any day.

What surprised me in this whole thing is that why did not Arnav hear anything happening in the room!? When he could hear Khushi sing that song - then why could he not hear Shyam and Khushi conversation!? Khushi sang near the pool - and shyam and Khushi confrontation took in the room and near the bathroom - and he did not hear a thing!? 😕 I would not talk about Khushi's reaction to Shyam - like she said - 'mitti dalo aur bhul jao' - I will go with it however much it may anger me.

But well - finally he got the key and if Arnav does go to the Gupta's then he sure will have many opportunities to take the file - which I am sure will be done. One step moving towards another misunderstanding - or maybe not. If Arnav sees it on the face value - then he sure will think that Khushi gave the keys to Shyam. But if he ponders over a bit - he will realize that Khushi had kept his wallet near the pool - in the sun to dry - anyone could have taken the keys from there. Now it totally depends on how it is projected.

Also - shyam keeps hovering around Arnav Khushi's room - does that not bother Anjali!? When the last time Anjali caught Shyam - I thought she had begun to doubt something - but then are we back to sqaure one!?

Inka main kahun toh kya kahun!? I seriously do not understand both of them and most importantly Khushi.

I am from UP - and I know how girls from Lucknow are to be. I get why Khushi is doing what she is doing - and I do support her in irritating Arnav. She needs her answers and she needs them anyhow - I get that. Arnav has bugged her enough - and she needs to fight for herself - I get that also. But what was with the 'Lipstick mark'!? Really!? 'Tehzeeb' that is what defines Lucknow - and putting lipstick mark on his handkerchief!? Does not gel with me at all. I was fine with everything that she did today - and her reaction to Arnav's outburst was expected. Knowing her - I knew she would not let go of Arnav easily once he blasted her reputation off - but the lipstick mark - a strick no no for me!

Rest everything was like always - he does something - she reacts - she does something - he reacts. What I especially liked was when she asked Arnav to check on the money to see if it was all there. She knows that Arnav does not think very highly of her - and she asked him to check it and that shocked Arnav also - the way he fumbled and then checked the key - no he may not trust her yet - but he knows she is not a thief. But again - Arnav checking his key - makes me wonder what is so important in the file!? It better be something huge - or this whole key and file track would lose importance.

Arnav refusing to go to the Gupta's - was expected. When does he listen to anyone except Anjali. He has refused Nani and I am sure if he goes to the Gupta's it will be only because of Anjali

Why do I think that Arnav at Gupta's house will be awesome!? Khushi wants to take him there because she wants him to stay and experience the supposed 'low class' living. However - somewhere I feel Arnav will begin to see Khushi in a new light - aggravating his whole mind and heart confusion even furtherm He will experience her relationships - her feelings - her bonds with her family and that will give him an insight into her.Also with the ME on 28th - seems like Arnav will get some hint on Shyam - while he is at the Gupta's. He may get a hint on Shyam the PG and may be able to put 2 and 2 together.

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 to both Tanthya and Doodle...I do have high hopes from this track. I hope they make things a little more obvious for audience like me. You both have amazing writing ability. 😊😊

Nothing very worthwhile in todays episode yet looks like it gone get some more clues for Arnav towards his understanding of KKG. Until now it has been a general concensus among most of us abt Khushi's DABBA SERVICE, but in GH this will be justified as they gonna show that buaji n Amma do not hv any source of Income & Babuji is sick with no earning power yet our KKG is shouldering that burden. bcz Arnav in his angst has not bothered with KHUSHI is finanacial requiremenrt definitely Guptas will be nowhere in his radar, this and a few other hints again will leave him more confused. Until today On a serious note I hadnt thought abt this I mean Like all I was kind of pissed of with the OTT, so I guess a new clue is being thrown for Arnav this week so in short he gets his views of her world.
