Ahem doesn't understand his own feelings.
When he loved Anita,he ditched her for his mother'sake.
But being a dutiful son did not make him happy. Even if he was not aware of gopi's mistakes and illiteracy,still he would have found a way of being unhappy. He was looking for a scapegoat, which gopi conveniently was.
When he slowly started looking at gopi from the education track, he also started liking her.did not need much effort, gopi was adorable, dutiful,obedient,innocent,truthful,-what is not there to like?
He was just flowing with th current.
That is the reason he does not realise his love for gopi.
Why ahem will not choose anita now?
The same reasons still exist.
1.his mother will not like it.
2. His family comes first. Other than that,
3.kinjal'life was affected.you can't see the person everyday and not think about it
it4. Family faced disgrace.
5.He is not a free man, he is a husband.
That choice will not even arise in him.
But his heart could be still yearning for Anita with his present choice to be with gopi. That is disturbing state of affairs.
Even with all these wonderful gohem scenes these past few months, maybe, he is not a person who cares for other people's feelings.otherwise why wouldn't he express what he feels to gopi?
The same callous and self centred person still exists,this is a cause for concern.
When ahem ditched Anita, though she must have been a nice person(otherwise why would he love her) she couldn't control her disappointment, she never understood ahem's feelings, she wanted him that's all. He was also going through pain,because of his choice,he had to be brutal with her, though he stilll loved her,she did not see his love.
Gopi' love is totally different-
Her love for ahem is like devotion, whatever he threw at her, she took it, she cried but never voiced even a complaint.
This difference in Anita and gopi was the reason, koki chose gopi.
This difference ahem has to understand too.
If he had married Anita,he would have been happy in the beginning but after sometime, he'll just be trying to make her happy, by providing her needs.he won't even realise why he is doing. She is a happy person when everything goes her way, but when it doesn't, she is as bad as rashi.
Gopi is gem of a character,more rubbing she gets, she glows even more.
This is another rubbing for her.
But ahem 's character is not improving at all. He is mechanical than intellectual or emotional. Only a person ,who has the capacity to analyse or understand can grow up.
Eg- when rashi entered the office, he was stunned, he told is mother he did not even know how to react.-this is what I mean about mechanical.
Love a person, ditch her because of mother,marry another person, make her life hell because of his unhappiness, teach her, care for her well being,get attracted to her, touch her whenever he wants,make her feel good without giving anything.love his family, still thinks of his past love, this list will go long during this track.
