EDIT: Requesting Peace. Barun Bashers please see.

Hello everyone! This is Shweta!

So I noticed this whole fight going on in between the fans of the two celebs. Barun Sobti and Gurmeet Choudhary.

I am someone who has problems with bashing. Any kind of bashing, not just Barun bashing. I agree bashing Gurmeet is wrong as well.

I just want you guys to start creating the peace by stopping the Barun Bashing rather than fight about who started it.

If one person starts the others will follow be it PV forum members, Geet Members, or IPKKND members.

Hope I haven't angered any of you. I was refraining from posting in this forum, nothing against you, I am just a bit scared on being bashed for trying to create peace.

If I have angered you, behen samaj ke maaf kardena but please do not turn this into an angry fighting post.

EDIT: It's working, my efforts are working. The post in this forum that was causing a hullabaloo has been edited by the creator. I did nothing but approach her kindly and explain how I felt what she was doing is wrong. Immediately she msged me back and edited her post. I'm sure she'll edit the comments too! But my point is that my efforts aren't futile, they worked! If you explain something to people with love, they will understand. I msged a few PV forum members to stop posting anything that would instigate the creator further. Thank you for listening to me because upon seeing that, and my msg, the creator withdrew their words.

I feel happy now, I can sleep in peace :D

yes i agree...both the actors work hard; none of them deserve bashing..

Hi! Welcome to the PV forum. Please don't sound so scared! The people on the ranking thread are not representative of this forum at all, which is a very happy place, where common fans of IPK and PV are some of the most active members! That should tell you there is certainly no bad blood here!

I know your intentions are totally honourable and you sound very sensible so let me tell you something I have learned in my experience on the forum. You can't stop bashing. You just can't. You also can't create peace between bashers because that is simply not what they want. No matter how many lucid facts you bring, you cannot convince one actor's fans that another deserves number 1. Whether they do or not is immaterial.

So the best thing to do to survive on the forum is to separate bashers from people who discuss shows and characters and genuinely love their actors in a healthy way. Instead of trying to create peace, just refer the offensive posts to the mods because there is a system and we should use it.

I really don't mean to sound patronising or rude, but making a post like this, despite all your excellent intentions is only going to cause issues because bashers lurking in the silence, waiting for the slightest opportunity, will suddenly appear and you will think they are PV fans when we have probably never seen them before, and label all PV fans as crazy (the misconception you seem to have come with) which will eventually result in more antagonism between the two forums, and actor fandoms.

So please, if you see bashers on the rankings thread, report them and I promise the result will be far more satisfactory! 😃

Yupp. Don't hit Barun. Its not his fault if a section of his fans is cuckoo. But tackle the abusers with tongs. Simple.

guys, concentrate on GC, dont give imp to anyone who is nt related to PV. Time is precious.

Thank-you for this post, i've been trying to spread the same message. GC && BS are both amazing actors in their own way and both deserve their time to shine.

As for the bashers, most Gurtians and Arhies are sensible enough to refrain from it, some as you mentioned even go as far as to edit their previous bashing. However there will always be stubborn fans in all forums who are just seeking for an opportunity to bash another talented actor, and demean other forum members.And the reason for this is not because they're 'hardcore fans' as a fan would respect others feelings and opinions, but because they're sitting behind a computer/laptop so to an extent will always remain anonymous, i call it being a coward, others may call it being a basher.

I agree, Gurmeet & Barun are both admirable & commendable actors😃
