Gawar in the literal sense of the word would mean 'stupid and useless.'
Gopi: I don't believe even for a second that she was ever a 'Gawar.' The stigma of being illiterate at no point makes any human-being useless or stupid. They would use their skills and minds in other directions, Gopi has proved that time and time again.Jigar: Jigar was educated and well brought up. But yet all of these qualities fail to help him see his wife's true colors. When the evidence is staring u blindly in front of u and u don't see it, then u would call that stupidity. And unfortunately that is the problem with Jigar. His biggest flaw is also his best quality in that he always sees the best in people and he somehow ignores the bad.
