I have to disagree, although Archana is being disrespected in many ways (many of which have to do with her relationship with Sachu, which btw i love love love their relationshipšŸ¤— i hope more story unfolds behind them because they touch my heart!!), it is totally natural for kids who grow up without a parent to call that said parent "that woman" or "that man". Especially in the case of Teju and Ovi, their Aaji 🤢has fed them loads of stuff against Archu😭. And because Archu was absent from their lives of course their going to believe their grandma, its only natural. Sachu, Manav, Ovi and Teju have all been hurt by Archu and because she is not making an effort to clear up the misunderstandings they are going to keep hating her.
Also i love Purvi, her character is very very empowering for womenšŸ‘. Although she does "points in peoples faces". Every aspect of her character is empowering, she supports her family and does what she needs to do keep respect and stabilityšŸ‘šŸ¼ But the reason she does not have the negativity that the other children have is solely because her Ai has been present in her life. And unlike Manav who was under the false impression that Archana is badšŸ˜•, Archu knows how good MAnav is and raised Purvi with respect and positive feelings for her Baba. If Archu would have spun a story saying Manav left us, blah blah blah , I highly doubt Purvi would be as respectful toward him as she is.
OMG i wrote a lot. Sorry, just my views I didn't intend on offending anyone.!!!

Why is it assumed that Savita has filled Ovi-Teju's ears with crap abt Archana...May be it is Manav who might have said something to both the girls about their mother which are facts...Possibility is there...

It is horrible the way Archana is being disrespected all the time and getting abused left , right and center ...It is just getting too much now . Teju actually said that her father ' Taught the chidren to hate Archana for 18 years ' . 😲
And after this , it is shown that Archana is lovingly thinking about Manav that he cares for her ...absolutely ridiculous ... 😔
No woman in this world would feel even one minute of love for a man who first took her babies away and has taught her children to hate her for 18 years ...Not even a doormat kind of woman would forget something like this so easily ...
Worst bit is Archana being lovng to Sachin after the way he talks to her 🤢 ...if this kind of thing is shown then people will get put off with the Manav Archana story and that may not be good for the show .

This is so true. I commented on the fact of all the youngsters calling her 'that woman' I aslo find that by Archana continuously taking this abuse and literally coming back for more, is a very negative message. Is she not the protagonist in this serial? If so, her character should be kind and loving but also strong and embodies self respect- none of that exists right now in Archana. One can hardly blame Manav for his behaviour towards Arch, he poured out his heart to her and she broke it- in front of an audience too! She also demanded a lot of money from him. We knew that this was for Sachin's benefit, but Manav didnt.. Archana also knows how Manav feels about her (when he was drunk on bhang) but he thinks she hates him and has no interest i her children. BTW why did Arch not tryt o enquire about the children all these years?

@ bold, Manav is under the misapprehension that Archana refused the tickets to Canada, Archana believes that Manav sent her divorce papers so how does Archana know Manav is good while he thinks she is evil? It would be logical for both to think the other is bad.
Ton of misunderstandings between the two, courtesy Savita.
But in the 18 years, they have grown apart and that growing apart and pride has stopped them from having a civil heart to heart conversation with each other - one (Manav) harbors feelings of abandonment, being repulsed and ignored, the other (Archana) is laboring under a ton of misplaced guilt (not realizing that the other party in the marriage is also at fault, equally or more so). She can only think Manav was justified in leaving her as she still feels responsible for losing Soham and as a mother cannot forgive herself for that. She does not see Manav's fault in not contacting her for 18 years or for teaching the girls to hate her - somewhere in her eyes she is deserving of this hate - it is a salve for her wound, for her guilt at losing Soham. She needs to fix this misplaced grief/guilt and realize her husband is a fool, he, on the other hand, needs to comprehend his wife likes to play martyr, They are not strangers to each other so should know how the other thinks and feels but the 18 years apart probably has dimmed their understanding of each other.
If they did sit down and square it away, we would have no story so the CVs will prolong it as much as they can.
