I think it is Aarti's unconscious mind which want to cling to the bad image of Yash inspite of her mother and Ansh repeatedly telling her that Yash is a great man..
Aarti usually depends upon Shobha for a better judment and she has never proved wrong.
People even believe that the children know the man's innerself quickly than the grownups..
But Aarti is quick in believe to the conclusion of her friend whom she knows very well that she could be exaggerating. the question is why???
I think because she had that bad experience in her life that her ex-husband did not love her truly but took all the rights of a husband to make her pregnant. It only meant that Prashant's relationship with her from his side was only physical and not as emotional as she thought would be...Though she claim to love him but she is in denial and will come out it once she sees herself that Yash is truly what he is and there is not a fake bone in him...
