Wrote a full post also on it on the IP Redux: Bairi Piya thread and elsewhere as I saw people not really understanding the impact of yesterday's episode and criticizing it.

My tagline based on Arnav's doubting what he saw stands as:

If you truly believe what you see, you won't ask any questions, but the moment you doubt something you see, you immediately seek clarification, and try to find out the truth behind what you saw.

I think he knows the answer as far as Shyam is concerned! He will NEVER change! Shyam probably thinks that ASR is at least "Partly" fooled by his act of being sincere in working on his marraige!

Yes this time he wanted to give Khushi the benefit of the doubt, or oppertunity to explain! Poor guy asked her like 10 times "where were you"?? Maybe hoping she would actually give him SOME explanation! NOT point blank REFUSE to say anything!

True, agree with you there moon-mine... I don't really blame people for wanting romantic scenes (we all love romance) but, then the track has to move forward, and I feel that they took a good step ahead in yesterday's episode - Arnav actually confronting Khushi to know the real reason behind her absence at the function!

Yesterday's episode gave a volume of information, but I guess only the audience who seeks the messages in the show appreciated it... the others who watch for pure entertainment don't seem to have got hold of the big important clues let out by Arnav in yesterday's episode!
