SO THOUGHT OE SHARING IT WITH U AL :
One glance at actor and model Shalini Sahuta
is enough to know why she
has created a buzz in the film, TV and
advertising world. The twinkling eyes,
the extremely expressive face and her
voice bubbling with a youthful vigour
are enough to impress even hardened
filmmakers. And that is precisely what
Shalini appears to have done, with an
important role against Arya Babbar in
T-Series' Ready, a parallel lead in the
popular TV serial, Ganga Ki Dheej on
Sahara and another film Chhoo Ley
Aasman in the pipeline.
This is in addition to her major roles
earlier, in the TV serial Naaginn on Zee
TV, the lead role in Sab TV's Gupshup
Coffee Shop and numerous TV ads
including that of medical abortion
pills, Facia soap, Norton anti-virus,
HDFC Bank, Maggi Noodles,
Newscorp, ADD Achiever gel pen,
Rajshree Pan Masala etc.
And that's not all. The versatile actor
has also done a stint as an anchor on
the TV channel, Zoom and played the
female lead in the legendary Jagjit
Singh's music video, Inteha Ishq Ki,
from his latest album, Inteha.
In fact, the expression, "full of beans"
is what aptly describes this Punjabi
stunner from Mumbai. So it is hardly
surprising when a single question put
to her draws a torrent of breathless
lines in the form of an answer.
The entry of this IT Graduate in
showbiz was as rapid as her answers.
But Shalini's dream of making it big
under the arc lights took seed in her
childhood itself. The insatiable desire
to face the camera was born when, in
school, she came across an ad
featuring a good-looking model.

the tryst with the top radio channel
lasted just for a year and a half. And
the irrepressible go-getter was once
again yearning to face the camera as
an actor. Shalini got the offer from
Sab TV just two days after her
resignation.
