Chapter 28
Asking through their eye brows, both the elderly ladies gave a stern look. Maan said, "Dadi, you always keep bugging me about getting married naâŚ"
He was just making an excuse and Geet bowed her head down, blushing. She dared to look up at her mother and ran to her and hid her face as she hugged her. Rano smiled and patter her hair as Maan scratched his head like a cute monkey.
Dadi pulled his ears and he yelled out in pain. Geet looked at him, her hands still around her mother's waist and head resting on her shoulder. She gave a blushing smile as dadi said the next.
"Understood; Rano, what do you say?"
"When they both have already decided, who are we to say anything, right?" she replied with a tease.
"That; is true." Dadi replied with a grin. The truth was, both of them were happy to see them together.

A week later, Maan sat next to Geet impatiently as the priest sat in front of them looking at their horoscopes. Maan groaned again and asked, "Dadi! Is this all really necessary? I mean we have to get married. So why not just pick a date rather than do all this?"
"Maan, do you want to get married or not?" dadi asked sternly.
He bowed his head and rested back in his place. Geet giggled and then assured him through her eyes that it'll be done and over with soon. Having nothing else to do, he started playing around with her scarf. She didn't notice till everyone was staring at her direction, even the priest. She gave a confused look and then realized they were looking past her.
Turning slightly, she felt a pull as Maan continued to fiddle with her scarf. She pulled it away from his hold and gave him a stern look that said 'Sit straight'. Again, he let out a low whimper and sat up straight.
To his relief, the priest spoke up confirming the date. "Six days later would be a really auspicious date for their marriage."
Both of them grinned at each other and so did Rano and Dadi. They bid their good byes to the priest and Rano walked up to Geet. "You'll be going away so soon!"
Geet smiled at her and said, "I'll always be with you mom. And we still have six more days."
"Besides, she's not going miles away from you. She'll be right here!" Maan piped in.
Rano ran her hand through both of their faces and was proud to have a well brought up child and such an adorable son in law. "Alright, we have many things to organize. Let's get to work." Dadi said interrupting them.
Rano wiped away the small tear that was about to escape her eyes and nodded. She left before anyone could see it saying, "I'll check on the arrangements for the functions."
They divided up the work and the preparations started off in full swing. No one found time for themselves but in the next five days, Maan always managed to find a moment or two alone with Geet even after he was warned by dadi to stay away from her till their marriage.
It was just impossible for both of them to not talk to each other. Who came up with this custom?! Was the only thing wanted to know...?
Lucky for them, they had mobiles they could connect with. The henna was applied on her hands the time Maan sneaked up behind her. She let out a low shriek before she understood who it could be.
"Maan!" she said with a smile on her face.
"Sorry for startling you." He said and then immediately held her hands to look at it. It wasn't completely dry yet. Taking it towards his face but keeping a bit of a distance to prevent it from getting ruined, he took a deep breath.
"You know, I just love the smell of these things!"
She giggled and answered, 'You're gonna love it even more when you have to find your name on my hands."
"Yea, that's gonna be hard. But hey, nothing is too hard for your MK. Especially the impossible tasks." He replied back with a wink.
Quickly, he ducked behind the curtain as he saw dadi coming towards them. She said, "Geet, come, I'll feed you. It's time you take you lunch before the long night today."
The marriage was at night and she left with her, giving a quick glance at Maan. He sighed. Now he would see her only at night. There was no way he could manage another sneak in. he had almost been caught during sangeet ceremony by those smart ladies. Lucky for him, Geet was on his side and she saved him from getting caught just in time!

Geet complained, "Mamma, do I have to wear this heavy lehnga?"
Rano gave her a nudge on her head and told her to quietly sit down. She was wearing a red colored bridal outfit as she sat down. Rano got her ready and put the bangles on her.
Bending on her kneels, she turned her to face her daughter, who would be not just her daughter but someone's wife; someone's daughter in law soon. With just one relationship, she'll be bonded in many others for the rest of her life.
She said, "Now what do I tell you on this day? You already know how to be the perfect daughter in law. I know you will never give anyone a chance to complain. I only want you to stay happy. You've given everything up till now, but no more. Go, enjoy your life the way you want to. Alright? And I'll save you the lecture all mom's give before marriage. As it is, you're the sweetest and the best daughter one could have. I haven't been a good mother, forgive me for thatâŚ"
Geet interrupted, "No mom. Even while you weren't with me, I have learnt a lot. Whatever I am is because of the hope I always kept that somewhere, you were looking at me."
Both of them looked at each other and smiled at the understanding between them. Who would say that they were not together since the second she was born? Who would say they had just re-met a few weeks ago? No one!

Though I wasn't looking for anyone new,
One day I got e-mail and in it was you.
Charming, sensitive, and so debonair,
I strongly resisted it go anywhere.
But letters and stories captured my heart,
Filled me with passion almost from the start.
Love on the Internet, how could it be?
These things just don't happen to people like me.
But doves and butterflies flew into our lived,
Carrying messages we could not deny.
Each person has meaning and love to express
And we could deny our hearts nothing less.

Epilogue
He watched her walk down the stairs, slowly and as gracefully as ever. No one can ever surpass her beauty. Why? Not facial beauty, but the beauty sparked from the heart. The happiness reflected on the face touched everyone present there.
The rituals were all completed and no one had any tears in their eyes as they left. Why would they? Two lovers were married and there could be no other way to let them celebrate. Dadi postponed the rest of the rituals for tomorrow and let them go. It was time for them to step into their abode.
The same place which Geet had made it happen with every bit of her hard work. Before they could even enter the steps, Maan stopped her and picked her up bridal style. "No way am I going to let your feet touch the ground before the ritual."
"I thought you didn't believe in them?" Geet asked as she looked at him as he carried her in.
"Don't be smart with me." He said as he took her up the stairs and into their room. Geet admired the beautiful way the room was decorated only for them. He placed her on the bed and gazed at her. The beautiful angel in front of her. She was truly his now in all way.
This was the auspicious moment when two hearts would become one. She lowered her eyes, feeling shy, as if his gaze was reading all of her thoughts.
He whispered naughtily, "Is the lehnga too heavy?"
Her face turned into brighter shade of red as she understood each and every word of it. *The lights go dim*

Geets POV
It's a beautiful love that has grown between us,
Something beyond any words we discuss.
Much deeper than LOL, cyber kisses and such,
Far down to our souls, beyond human touch.
My love's not confined by what it can see,
I feel you, I taste you, I experience your dream.
Close my eyes, and I envision what in my heart I can hear,
"Love knows no boundaries, no distance, no fear."
It's the soul that captures God's love in a way
That eternally melts hearts together to stay.
Fused and sealed forever as one,
Love has its way and new life is begun.

One can truly say that love can happen anywhere to anyone at any time and often unexpectedly! For them, their Facebook accounts' were meant to be just another account they open. Instead, it opened a whole new chapter for them, ending in the most unexpected way. Whenever people get together, love always finds it way. It has since forever and always will. It found them and it can't be denied.

Hey guys! With that, I end this Love Story Online. That was the last part. A sweet, naught ending to a story. Hope you all enjoyed! Thank you so so much for being a part of this FF and always liking and commenting, bearing my unusual update timings and keeping with us even after lots of inactivity. Can't believe I'm done with my first FF. (There was one I started before this one but that is going no where đ This is the second I started and first that is being ended đł Hey, one year for this FF ends on April 11th đ
But finally glad it's all done! Now my focus will be on TBD for you all as I struggle with classes and also other FF's. Haha, I'm on a mission to end more than half of my ff's and only have 2 running. (which are not on MG).
Also, I do not intend on starting any MaanEet (or any in general) at all. So once TBD ends, I'm done. I'm getting too busy now with studies and life to continue writing. It's better to not write rather than keep you all waiting for updates! đł Sorry for the long boring note. Know not many of you might be interested in reading it đ
See you all on TBD now đ¤ Thank you ocne again lovely readers. I had great time writing this one.
love, Khushi <3
