Director Vijay says that both Anushka and Amy Jackson play vital roles in Thaandavam

It looks like director Vijay is keen on wrapping up the shoot of his Thaandavam by July. "The Chennai schedule will be wrapped up by today. We are trying to finalize the location for our abroad schedule, and are toying between the US and the UK. We should be in a position to confirm the location in a week's time," informs Vijay.
Talking about the film, the director says, "It's a complete action entertainer, and both Vikram and JB (as Jagapathi Babu will be known in Kollywood henceforth!) play cops. Vikram has already played cop in most of his films, but he was sure that neither his look nor his body language in this film should remind the audience of his previous cop flicks. So, he has worked hard on toning his physique. And JB, who is a big star in Tollywood, will be one of the biggest plusses in the film. He is quite kicked about his role, and is eager to do a lot of films in Tamil after this."
Quiz him if there's a triangular love angle, given that both Anushka and Amy Jackson play the lead, and he volleys the question, "There's a different kind of love story in the background, but it's too early to talk about the plot of the film. All I can tell now is that both Anushka and Amy have important roles to play and are not in the film just because I needed heroines!"

Deiva Thiirumagal, has been advising the actress on her choice of films. But Vijay brushes off the rumour, saying, "Yes, I'm indeed doing a film with Vijay. But I haven't even thought of casting for the project. I'm tired of clarifying rumours that link us both. As of now, I'm only concentrating on Thaandavam."
