Awhile ago, Suriya shot inside IIT-Madras for his role in A R Murugadoss' 7aum Arivu, in the company of his co-star Shruti Haasan, and a couple of other artists. In fact, most of the climax sequence was shot inside the campus. And now, after a few months, the actor is experiencing a sense of dj vu, as he shot again inside the same educational campus. But this time around, it was for Maattrraan, his second film (after Ayan) with director K V Anand. A source tells us, "An important sequence in the film was shot inside the campus a couple of days ago. The unit had sought special permission to shoot inside for two hours."
However, it isn't known if the film's leading lady, Kajal Aggarwal, was also present for the schedule.
The source adds, "Almost 80 per cent of the film has been wrapped up. Anand will be canning a few portions with Suriya in and around the city in the coming days."
