Considering how much we love Maaneet jodi. Would it ever be possible for GC and DD to come out of the Maaneet shadow. All the fans are crying for Geet season 2, even though GC and DD are committed to other shows.

I did not watch Geet when it was actually running. I started when it was already over. Yet I just cant let me go...
I watched Punar Vivah(for GC of course) - couple of episodes, but every moment I was expecting GC to give that angry pout or lopsided smile or just scream "GEET!". I just cant seem to accept him in his new role. I stopped watching the serial altogether!
Not sure what will be my reaction when DD's new serial comes out...
So questions -
Can we ever accept GC/DD as anything other Maaneet wholeheartedly?
