Hi everyone!

Hope you're all well and have had a fabulous week so far! 😃

I watched the first few episodes of PV and was just not able to get into the show. 😕 Maybe I needed to watch more episodes or maybe I missed the appeal of the storyline which is why I wanted to create this topic; to ask you all what you think the appeal of PV is.

I realize that everyone has different tastes and every character and show is different, but I'd like to know:

What is the appeal of Punar Vivah? What makes you want to watch the show?

Thanks in advance!

Its a mature , superserious, intense love story of two people who have no dreams, no hopes, no will to live on their own. Above all, two soulmates who are in love with other people. That is enough kick for me as i love difficult dark love stories.

Secondly, the screenplay writing is so sensitive and intense yet balances out humour with near perfection. The characterizations are flawless and actors have slipped into the characters with such ease. Besides , we connect to it because it mirrors Indian society and puts forward an out and out love story of a remarriage.

So, yeah, that is why am glued to PV.

I started watching it to see whats so interesting about the show that GC took it up so soon after his previous show ended ..
But after watching the first week ,I was blown away simply with the screenplay ,narration and the way various characters r written with a touch of reality 👏👏👏
What appealed to me then was the whole concept of a remarriage between a divorcee and a widower and how two people r forced to give a second chance to their life for their kids but eventually both falls in love and makes an intense passionate pair thus breaking the whole myth of true love can happen only once ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️...a grt concept 👏👏

Gurmeet! I luv his acting. It has a unique progressive plot. I live in the US and know many Indian women divorced for legitimate reasons and are still looked down upon. So it's very relatable.

Pocu/Jyo: Agree =)
And the fact that it doesn't shy away from showing harsh realities that are sometimes abhorred (such as name change and snatching rights from girl's parents) that could garner harsh reactions is what I like. They also keep a balance between the drama and humour/playfulness. It's very balanced and you don't get overdoses of anything at one time. Unique characterizations and all really helps to see each character in their own light and I love that!
