I would be spending a day in London this weekend.
Hence need suggestions from u on a good, "economical" & safe hotel to spend a night in London.

Thanks for the help & sorry for spamming everybody..
I don't have any friends in London apart from u forum-friends.

Regards

Hi Veena
I am out and about so didn't see your post. I don't know Bristol that well but if you need a hotel I suggest you have a look and see if there are any Premier Inn or Travel Lodge near where you will be. They are country wide chains so I hope they will be ok for you. X xx

Which part of London are you planning to stay Veena?
To see all the key attractions, central London will be the best.

Premier inn ,travel lodge r the cheapest but becareful abt ur expensive belongings ... Always try to keep them wid u ...
Don know outside of London but London cheapest hotels have bad reputation ... Of money , jewelary & passport stolen...

Central London ---- expensive ...
Try to be at east London --- lil cheap & asian community live here ... Most of the shop salesman/ women r from subcontinent ... So if need any help u can tAke advice frm them... Transport frm east London to central London is eAsy --- only takes 20 -25 minutes ...

For shopping u can go straight to green street ( 100 percent Indian ppl & goods) near by biggest shopping mall Westfield ( Olympic games will be held in this area) for western stuffs ... Indian food also available ...
For Indian food visit bricklane ( bangle town)over 40 restaurant in a row...
Indian restaurant r avAilable throughout London where subcontinent ppl live...

& 90 percent Indian lives in southall & in wembly area ( far frm city)
