Saigal changed his two-year-old hairstyle for a new role as Eklavya in Kyunki

You've seen him as the lean bad boy Ansh in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Now, get ready to see Akashdeep Saigal in a totally different avatar. This time, he plays Eklavya in the newly older Kyunki.
The actor recently cut his long tresses and showed off his new cut at Zenzi a few days ago. "After two years, I think it was high time, I went in for a new look. Incidentally, my new look in Kyunki required short hair, and I am also shown cutting my hair for AIDS charity in my film."
Short and sweet
His haircut took two days to get it right. "I got my haircut done at Makeover in Bandra. When I went to shoot the promo for Kyunki, Ekta asked me to chop my hair shorter, so I went back and cut it again. I quite like my new look."
He may sport short hair, but Akash isn't too sure if his stubble will stay. "We have to work on that, but I will be sporting hazel brown eyes. I am trying my best to have a separate identity for Eklavya."
On the film front, Saigal says his project, Lotus Dreams is 90 per cent complete. "I'm looking at releasing it during Diwali. There's a song with children that I recently shot in the rains. It was quite funny, because whenever I went outdoors, it would start pouring and the moment I went inside it would stop. It was quite an experience working on this project."
