What was the point of SR/SD?

With the shy Ahamji happy in his pseudo-virgin state and the deflowered Gopi vahu back in her pati-vrata mode, what was the point of the SR/SD😕?

Was it done to satisfy some disgruntled fans clamoring for physical intimacy between the main leads or to coax tears out of Gopi for trps, or are we headed for that dreadful pregnancy track?

I want to justify it (although I don't believe it) by saying that it was just to make her stronger and make her heart a little hard so she can fight this new souten that is coming her way and I really really hope it is not pregnancy for Gopi😡. But what a way to give strength to a character like Gopi (by breaking her heart where her husband doesn't remember their first nigt/day)🤢. The people on this forum could come up with tons of more creative and enjoyable ways to make her strong that could also boost the trps.

Yes, these are just millions of other loose ends that the CV's left for us to puzzle over. I am afraid if no pregnancy, the SR/SD will be buried in the same stinky land fill where all the kalakaris are buried🤢

if the new girl is a positive influence then maybe ahem will remember his SD...but if she turns out to be the sautan or whatever...then im afraid the pregnancy track could follow...looks like we just might go the cliched route like u thought aris😭

Well I feel it was done only to stop the fans who were wanting physical intimacy between gohem as it extended for two years since they did not focus on gohem at all and any longer than that was just making it laughable day by day. Till now I can't see any significance of sd and if they wanted to make gopi strong there were many possible and better ways
