Is Kajol jealous of Vidya/Kareena?

There is nothing in that comment that shows that she is jealous...

Kajol is jealous of everyone. She is hardly on good terms with any of the actresses from her time.

@Chamkeeli: The moment I read it...it sounded like a jealous comment to me. She could have said something like "today's girls are great" like many former actresses do. But she says its no big deal what today's girls are doing. Someone else I would have dismissed the comment..but Kajol was known for her acting skills...and yet she never managed to do what Vidya has done. She always stuck to her safe zone instead of experimenting.

Nothing wrong with what she said. It's true. Vidya's success doesn't mean the male-centric system has suddenly vanished. It's still here. She does acknowledge that there have been improvements so I don't see how she is being jealous of anyone in this specific comment.

Kareena and Kajol get on like house on fire. So I doubt Kajol would envy Kareena. They are both bimbettes, of course its another matter altogether that I like Kareena more...at least she is nice to her fans. I am not sure how Kajol feels about Vidya but I wouldn't be surprised if she is hopping mad too. Vidya seems to be giving everyone sleepless nights. 😆

I think Kajol and Rani has already reached the stage where Vidya is today. There commercial success and fan following proves that till today. I don't understand the need to demean other stars to praise Vidya because another friday, somebody else would topple Vidya.. Vidya came at a time, where there was less performance oriented roles for bollywood actress and she did choose the best scripts..

Kajol is overrated. She knows she could never have done a Kahaani. And there is this one more thing that I can see through her interviews is that she is not ready to acknowledge other's work.
