Ever since the serial started and we saw that this was based on the book called Patrani, we knew that this is a female oriented story and that was the reason Ekta brought in Sakshi...it took 8 months for the female protagonist to evolve...Priya first needed to have her husband on her side and it took that long to get the 40 year old stubborn Punjabi man to fall for her. Now he is grinning like a Cheshire cat and is willing to dance to her tune...the good thing is that he is aware of it and is willing to go along.
Last night's episode showed the return of Parvati Bhabie...while it was nice to see some problems getting resolved quickly, I have my apprehension here
While Patrani is now in action, I don't want to see Priya single handedly solving all problems while Ram is just smiling and loving his wife. I want him fully participating in all issues and giving his view point and both of them showing the world that they are formidable as a couple...dont mess with us..
While Priya can take charge and set all house matters right, I want Ram to clear the rot in his office. Otherwise it will become just another Balaji serial...Ekta already has a lemon in her kitty called Kya Hua tera vada...she needs to show folks that BALH is popular not coz of the consummation scene but because there is another way to handle issues through smartness and maturity.
SO please Ekta dont kill the golden goose...

Neenz very well said..
Yes this show shouldnt go into a typical EK serial way, with all saas-bahu drama and the female protagonist single handedly solving all problems.
Ram needs to know of all things happening at home and must equally participate in bringing his house to order.. Many deep family secrets and skeletons in the cupbords needs to come out and in the process of setting them right raya must evolve themselves and move on to the next level..
This show is about love after marraige between a middleaged couple. That essence must be kept intact while all twists and turns happen around them..
And for God's sake EK please dont copy the same thing from your early or current shows. Let BALH be refreshingly different always..

Even i don't want the same old female oriented drama here. Till now we enjoyed this show a lot, coz i think this might be the first show which also reflects on male lead and importance given to both the leads equally but if the story imposes on only female lead and same old saas bahu drama repeats then am the first one to quit this show.😛

I am sure BALH will be new and refreshing. Ekta has started a new trend, let's see how she handles it.

the show may be female oriented but the concept is about two opposite people of middle age fall in love after marriage, it is actually the story of Ram and Priya, indeed Priya sort out things but that was her own way of doing that, she could not have done that if Ram didnot gave the nod, but definitely we would love to see both of them handling and solving the problems not isolately

👏The name Patrani is gelling well with the female lead now after almost 6months of marriage. The meaning of the word being The Official Queen being apt how she handled Sid. It was so majestic, royal, intelligent and so so diplomatic and political... Whoever is the author of the play PATRANI deserves a standing ovation to have created a character like that and given a very apt name...👏
