Mother-Daughter

Koki calls gopi as vahu as per relation - but she loves and takes care of her more than her own daughter... scolds her, rectifies her when she does something wrong

only a mom will have the liberty and the willingness and motivation to scold a kid when they are wrong...koki does the same ...she feels she has the liberty and right to correct gopi when she is makes a mistake...no mom will stay quiet if a kid makes a mistake, she pampers her, when her DIL is sad, feeds her, supports her, looks after her, is strict with her and is concerned for her just like a mom...

during a wedding many MILs promise the girls' parents, that they will look after their DIL as their own daughter... but reality strikes the chord when DIL enters the house... they forget the promise and treat DIL as DIL

but koki did not make any such promise (correct me if i am wrong) , even though she calls gopi as Vahu as per relation... she loves her and takes care of her more than a daughter - she trusts gopi more than anyone..their relation is bound by heart .. genuine

Saas-Bahu (MIL/DIL)

where as here it is reverse, hetal calls her DIL as dikra... as a daughter... but does she mean or treat her as her daughter - No

if she really presumes rashi to be her dikra... she should have scolded rashi and shut her mouth the first day when she tried to create a scene with the cheetla - chutney and dhokla khand...

she should have forced rashi to do the work instead of she taking over her work and doing it for Rashi... when will she teach or when will rashi learn... a mom will never allow this.. they will be on their toes to teach their daughters.. she is covering up her laziness...

here hetal is just being a MIL... she calls Rashi as dikra for only name sake... she never feels rashi as her daughter... because their relation is not based on trust but on convenience and comfort

Conclusion :

At the end of the day complete leniency is a No No. You got to be strict when needed, if you genuinely care for your daughter/DIL ' take the right decision of punishing or loving before it get too late

True. Koki is a strict and upright parent. The rules are the same for Gopi, Kinjal and Ahem. Her maternal instincts kick in to protect Gopi and prevent her from getting into trouble. Her love for Gopi was evident in the hospital scene.

Very well summarized munni.

I can only hope that hetal realizes her mistake sooner than later. But then what would mean revealing Rashi's true colors yet again. Meaning a repeat of Rashi being kicked out and brought back.

I don't know what the CVs are thinking but I hate the clich fights that they are showing between koki and hetal

It is always difficult for a parent to be labelled strict and stern.. But there are always times when you have to take a stand as a parent and scold, admonish especially with the child's future in mind.. "Spare the rod, spoil the child"... I do not mean literally.. But if not a parent who corrects your mistakes then who..

The truth is , it is a mom who tells you your faults because she cares.. Others will praise you when you do something good but they will also be the first ones to pull you and mock you when things go wrong. A mother will never want her child to be admonished by others. That will not sit well with her. But she will admonish the child because, that means the kid can learn not to make the same mistake again.

For this a mother is ready to be called strict and not fun loving. It is ok with her if her child's future is secure..

Hetal if she cared so uch about Rashi would have admonished her first for her faults so that Koki did not have to do it. We blame Koki for being strict with Rashi. But do we think why? Rashi does not learn because her mother and MIL do not care to correct her. Koki cares enough to do it..

She is really a true mother in every sense. It was Koki who cried for Gopi when she was lost, when she was kidnapped, when she was in her deathbed... I did not see Urmi and for that matter Jithu shed a tear for her.. It was Koki who prayed for her DILs well being, who takes pride in letting everyone know that her Bahu is the best and also takes no time to correct her and admonish her when she makes a mistake.. Good going Koki.. Gopi is indeed lucky😃

Love your post ... You are so right ... my daddy yells at me the same way as my SIL... it is really nice ... she know how much my dad loves her ... but my mom never yells at anyone.

well said vidisha, she does not show any difference between Ahem. Kinjal and Gopi...

in fact she is more protective towards gopi as she is the most naive one among the three...

@ bold, it's all about maternal instincts when gopi vahu is concerned ...😊

yeah hetal has to realize... but right now she has lost all the reasoning and thinking ...so something major like she catching rashi red handed or kalakries coming out ... will only make her realize😕

yeah even we are speculating how this track is gonna end or where it is gonna lead... if we assume the track to be a key to open the lock for all kalakaries... then how will they go about rashi is big question ??

the hetal-koki tiff is getting bigger day by day😕

One thing im sure of is, the kalakaris are never gonna end. This is the only thing that actually spices up the show otherwise all we have is ladies in the kitchen or mandir, whilst gents leaving to work. Even Gohem romance is not gonna be an option with Gopi so disappointed in her Aham ji

Wow Ananya is such a cute name... i have set it aside for my girl ...but ended up with two boys😆

yep , it goes without saying that kalakaries are the ones that spice up and take the show forward...

so may be in the near end they might bring out...

or the least they could do is the necklace and letter khand where kinjal will be out in the open, then we can breathe some fresh air and then rashi can be saved till the end😆 if that is what they want...
