The long awaited scene of their first meeting post wedding came and what did our fav pair do? Act like first class idiots.
Rishi - our stupid romeo - all he could say was "I love you. I really love you like some roadside romeo who thinks all he has to say is "I love you" and kuri phas jayege😡
Head - meet wall! 😡
What an idiot! 😡 the precap from last firday was so powerfull, pregnant with all sorts of possibilities on how Rishi lays out his side of story. And what did we get - a meaningless declaration😡 He had cornered Indira. Excellent time to lay out his side of story. Tell her what happened. Confess your guilt. Lay out your journey for atonement in front of her. Tell her why you did not tell her about Vidit before the marriage. Tell her about his progress, how many times Indira almost uncovered his secret. Use this and other material to lay out a case to show he is not Ricky Diwan, but her Rishi
And What did our Romeo do? Helplessly plead in front of her and then beg in front of Vidit. His brain is too addled with love.
It is immaterial whether Indira believed his story or not He should have laid out his case. He afterall had intellectual and emotional justification for not telling her before marriage. At least give her some fodder to think in her quiet moments.
On the other side we have sanctimonious Indira who cannot find her way out of her pain even if someone leads her by hand
You know you loved him.
You know you had enough confidence in your love to boldly claim in front of everyone that your love will overcome any challenge... "azma ke dekhna hai to dekh lijiye"
So here is your first challenge, albeit an extremely big one. You are finally able to have one-on-one. Ask him questions. Why he did what he did. Ask penetrating questions.
At least "love" deserves that. After that if you want to throw him out in the garbage heap, do it. But at least make an informed decision.
For all her intelligence and strength, often she can't find her way out of a paperbag!
But this was Rishi's failure more than Indira.
