Hina Khan says she earned the most money from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai not from Naagin or Kasautii

Hina Khan's television journey began with Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which catapulted her to stardom. She credits the show not only for making her a household name but also for significantly boosting her financial success. In a conversation with Elvish Yadav, Hina revealed that the long-running series remains her most lucrative project to date.

When Elvish asked Hina which producer paid her the most—Rajan Shahi from YRKKH or Ektaa Kapoor from Naagin—she responded, Naagin maine kum time ke liye kiya, maine Ektaa ke saath Komolika (Kasautii Zindagii Kay) kiya tha for 6–7 months. But agar aap paise ki baat karen toh definitely Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (I did Naagin for a short period of time, and I played Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay with Ektaa for about 6–7 months. But if you talk about money, then definitely Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai).

She added, I did it for 8 years. Toh meri jitni sampati hai, sab mostly Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai se aayi hai. Uske baad bhi maine kaam kiya, lekin YRKKH played a big part (So most of whatever wealth I have has largely come from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. I worked even after that, but YRKKH played a big part).

Hina Khan’s career

Hina's career took off with her debut in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where she played Akshara Singhania for eight years. She then transitioned to reality TV, becoming the first runner-up on both Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss Season 11. In 2018, Hina returned to daily soaps, captivating audiences with her portrayal of the villainous Komolika in "Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Hina has also starred in films such as Shinda Shinda No Papa with Gippy Grewal, Hacked, and Unlock, alongside web series like Griha Laxmi" and NamaCool. Her most recent appearance was on the reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga with her husband, Rocky Jaiswal, which concluded in November 2025, with Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla taking the win.
