14th March WU- Devyani Against The Family

~ 14th March Written Update ~

SJ takes food for his mother who is sulking, he promises to try and forget Devyani and will also not go to the Jakhar house anymore. MJ asks him if he will really do that, he says yes. SJ feeds his mother who is happy and teary. Just then Priya phones and informs him about Brahma escaping from the hospital and coming to the house. He tells her he'll be right there. SJ tells his mother about Brahma escaping and he has to go but he has not forgotten his promise.

Brahma is on the bed with Devyani, and refusing to let go of her, telling her he doesnt want to go. She tells him to go to sleep and pats him, like you do to a child. He closes his eyes, Devyani looks worried. Brahma opens his eyes and tells her he's hungry. He keeps on saying he wants to eat, Devyani tells him to go to sleep and she will get food for him. Devyani lays him down and puts him to sleep.

Aditya is about to go in when Devyani appears. SJ has already arrived by now. He asks her why shes doing all this, she knows he's dangerous. Aditya tells her they should inform the police or hospital, Uttara agrees with him. Aditya asks her what shes thinking and asks SJ to make her understand. She tells them all to isten as she has made up her mind, Brahma will stay in the house. All are shocked.
Uttara asks her if she has gone mad, why would she even think of such a thing. Devyani tells her its his house. The man who they all hate and want revenge from is not the same man. How canshe throw him out when he doesnt even know who he is Priya tells her letting him stay at the house is taking a risk, they can make other arrangements for him, its not necessary for him to live in the house. Devyani tells her its his house and he has every right to live here. Till recently he fulfilled all their needs and now when he needs them they cant turn their backs on him. (Devyanis a goner 🤪 )
Aditya tells her if they even agree for a moment to let him stay, who will look after him as he is not going to. Devyani tells him how can he forget how his dad used to look after him in childhood when he was ill, Priya looks disgusted with Devyanis emotional blackmail. She tells him him his dad never asked who would look after him (Aditya) and today he is, she is interrupted by Uttara who tells her its not a big deal as its every parents right to care for their child. She reminds Devyani, if a part of the body rots then it has to be amputated to stop the poison from spreading to the rest of the body. And he is a aprt of the poison, if he stays then it will spread all over the house. How can she forget the pain he has caused everyone will never be forgotten and seeing his facade she has melted. All seem to be in agreement with Uttara. Devyani in tears tells them she hasnt forgotten and God will punish him. SJ tells her it could all be a reason for Brahma to gain their sympathy. She tells him it could be but until its proven he will stay in the house as its his right. She leaves to go to her room as the others are bewildered.

In her room Devyani watches a huddled Brahma sleeping, covers him and sits by him. She asks him why hes doing all this and what does he want from her, what is the truth. She wants him to go away from her life and she asked for divorce as she wanted to distance herself from him. Why did he have to come back in this state. Till yesterday she was figting against hima and today she is fighting with everyone for him. Why does he have to keep on putting her in predicament.
Uttara comes in, looks at Brahma then sits on the other side of him.

Uttara tells Devyani Brahma is taking advantsge of her, Can she really believe if he is mad, he is capable of making the world go mad. Devyani tells her until it is decided if he really is mad, until then he will stay here. Uttara has become angry by now and tells Devyani, this man has done nothing but lie to you and you are trusting him. Devyani asks her if shes saying all this out of concern for her or hatred for him. She doesnt want Brahma to stay here because it reminds her (Uttara) of the mistake she made. Uttara admits to making a mistake and says Brahmas luck is such that when one woman stops trusting him then the other wraps him up in her pallu trusting him. She tells Devyani not to make the same mistake that she did. She pleads with her not to trust him.
Devyani turns on Uttara and tells her should she kill him like she (Uttara) killed Rishabh, then fall into another mans arms. Realising what she just said, Devyani stops and looks horrified by what she just said. She turns and asks what did she just say. Uttara tells her, the truth, she caused her the most pain but not anymore as she wants her to get all the happiness. Devyani asks her how can she be alright. The upbringing we women are given in childhood to be the perfect daughter, wife, daughter in law and mother, is made, but still we women remain incomplete because our happiness is linked to our loved ones. From childhood we are taught our husband is God ( if thats what parmeshwar means), After marriage we want everything to be perfect. But in this society men (Shes looking at Brahma now) are allowed to do anything but if a woman makes one mistake then she is called kulta (i'm not sure if thats the right word or what it means). Both women are upset whilst Brahma sleeps.

Aditya says what he doesnt understand is if this man is insane then who was troubling his mother all these days. SJ agrees with him and says Brahma was the only one who had any enemity with Devyani. Because of her he lost everything. He asks Aditya what he thinks since he knows his dad well better than him, can his dad be mental and he remembers only Devyani. Aditya tells him Mr. Jakhar is surely putting on an cat of being mental, but who will make his mother understand. SJ offers to talk to Devyani and make her understand. Aditya tells him its no use as they have all tried but if he want to. Devyani overhears them and says it not necessary she can make her own decisions and no matter what anyone says (looking at SJ) she cant throw Brahma out of the house. The rest of the family dont look pleased. She reminds them that Brahma is still her husband.


PRECAP

At Jakhar house, a police officer wants to know if Brahma really is mental and if he is then how much. He asks the doctor if there is a test which is 100% accurate that can be performed to find out if Brahma is really mental. The doctor tells him there is, electric shock, hearing this it startles Devyani. Brahma is shown scared, tied up in a chair being prepped and his mouth gagged ready for the electric shock.

This show is going the same way --wife the great sacrificer thing.This was the only show worth watching - and now, it is the same as any other stupid shows.

😡 OMFG!! This is way beyond even Devyani's congenital stupidity! For THIS Maryada was given an extension? WHY oh WHY are creatives allowed to run amok like this & ruin a "different" story line & allow it to degenerate to this run-of-the-mill ABSURD portrayal of the ever-sacrificing Indian woman? They've REALLY ruined a good show once again...BAH!! 😡

Everybody made sense today - even -Uttara...ALL of them except the resident dolt. I don't think she has sounded very convincing in the past few weeks-alternating between hysterical fear & equally irrational self-assertiveness with the security arrangements made for her. She was totally idiotic & insane today.🤢

Why is priya keeping shut... she should just take aditya and leave the house... this track is really disappointing

the old priya whose smile was so infectious and who was in this cursed house and with this cursed familty was there only for Aditya

since the divorce drama started the new priya is in this house for anything but her marriage and is more focused on finding new causes and new dramas. she barely smiles anymore even though her owns secret is out, her marriage is resolved and honestly she should not have a care in the world, she has proof and a lawyer to get her justice if B is found sane and she has the satisfaction of seing him rot if he has truly gone insane. Yet inspite of all this I have never seen a more miserable unhappy and grim girl like the new priya.

every once in a while I go watch the old epis to enjoy Aditya and Priya before the marriage - they were so much fun to watch. now it is just misery and misery and more misery all smiles even are forced😭

Seems like an interesting precap! Hope to see Brahma actually receiving those electric shocks...but probably won't happen 😆

Thanks Fizi...but less said about Devyani the better! I am still holding out hope that there is a twist coming and that this is all a clever act on Devyani's part!
