Noreen is obviously not yet in awe of this matinee idol called ASR and is not so personally invested in Barun Sobti. From her perspective its just another guy whom a certain large subsection of fans just adore. I will allow her that. And there are many who are not influenced by ASR/Barun as others, because really there is no accounting for tastes.

In fact, there are so many within this forum who think women are unduly crazy about ASR-love. There are others in the forum who read and watch the posts and snicker because they think they are better than us crazy fans who have nothing better to do than write pages after pages about some screen idols.

And to tell you the truth, I've got personal hate messages from members of this forum who think I have nothing better to do than criticize CVs or write humorous posts laced with sarcasm.

So the world is not made up of same types of people. We need to let others live with their povs while we work feverishly to expand ours. Noreen may never be an ASR fan even after watching the show and may never understand what all the mania is about. I won't blame her for that because thats her sensibility and choice.

Hope this post is making some sense!

So merriam-webster defines a cult as "great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work (as a film or book); especially : such devotion regarded as a literary or intellectual fad." Based on this, you could call us a cult but I dont like that word because it implies religious following. If the last few weeks have taught this forum anything than it would be that even though we love Arnav we cannot abide by all of his actions. Christ, the forum went into WWIII mode and we are still feeling the aftereffects.

And the snorting is still uncalled for. If she did her research she would have realized that we are not just a bunch of squealing fans, she would have realized how truly unique this forum is. Yes we fawn over the almighty, but we do so much more here than just that...we analyze, we write, we criticize, we make funny posts. No matter what atleast Barun gets international appreciation and lets hope she does interview Sanaya as well. I don't like how she got left out in the SPA awards. She deserves just as much appreciation as Barun because this show would not have the same fan following without either one of them. Their combination makes this show perfect.
