Someday , she will be hopelessly in love with him.
I think its more or less clear that in this story, it will be Aarti who will be the first one to lose her heart and fall in love with her better half. Yash has no misunderstandings , no misconceptions and no knots in his mind or heart as far as Aarti is concerned. He thinks she is a wonderful woman ( even though a tad aggressive , nakchadi and adiyal) and a beautiful beautiful mother. He is marrying her for the right reasons, with his mind and heart in place and he has no feelings except respect for her. But that is not the case with Aarti. She thinks, hates and knows a Yash who doesn't even exist. She loathes a man who is only in her mind and mostly injected by Disco Maansi. So, for her, Yash's brooding but beautiful , serious but all-encompassing, arrogant but kind nature will come like a crashing wave where all the hate weapons she has armed herself with will be ripped off . She will be left vulnerable, then. And its then, that when she will have no 'Character Dheela' songs to sing for him that she will have to face his goodness , his kindness, his fatherly umbrella to Ansh and his transparent humanity.
Aarti is intense , passionate and very emotional by nature and she has a kind of extremist disposition. Whatever she has done in her life , she has done with blind faith, suicidal devotion and complete heart. When she loved Prashant, she gave away her heart. When she became a single mother , she gave all her devotion and likewise, when she embraces Paayal and Palak and falls in love with Yash, she will give away everything. That is how passionate people are ' driven by their instincts and their hearts. And that is how Aarti is. She is the heart in this relationship while Yash is the mind.
Today, while Yash observed a hell and heaven lot about Aarti, Aarti struggled with the Disco Maansi injected prejudice and her own stubborn streak to hate Yash. Yash observed many times just how stubborn, rigid and aggressive this woman can be. And its not that Yash didn't get irritated or angry. When she yelped an 'OUCCH' as Yash accidentally pulled the handcuffs, Yash countered her fiery eyes with a tolerant but vexed grin. When she behaved like a 5-year old wanting to find a cab on her own , he put up with her tantrums and hate walk. But then, he saw her soft side too when she turned into a water baby with her son ' and that careless soft Aarti made Yash smile. Yes, unaware and ignorant she made the brooding man smile. Yes, he is haunted by a love that is never coming back, he is plagued by the memory of a woman who is now only but a dream ' but that smile proved that Yash can find Yash again.
A little voice inside Aarti says that Yash is beautiful ' when he walks with her in the rain at a safe distance of few meters, she is forced to look at him when she should be abusing him and cursing him. She is unable to walk straight into the house when he stands at her gate , getting drenched in the rain. Her hands , her fingers refuse to leave the gate grills unless she turns and looks at him again. She does. She couldn't help it but someone, something inside her wants to trust Yash.
In a way, am glad that the misunderstanding didn't get cleared just like that ' this complication, this knot between them is making AarYa see the best and worst of each-other. It's a test of fire and this divider between them will only help their evolution. Aarti will see Yash so high after this that he will always be pious to her. Yash will see the woman that Aarti is beyond her men-hate and her role of a mother.
The best moments today were when Aarti's hair were threatening to make Yash sneeze and madam noticed nothing but the second the poor guy removed her hair , she wanted to kill him. The dagger look exchange between AarYa when the handcuff got pulled ' trust me, they both wanted to shoot each-other. When AarYa spoke to each-other together and then, left the convo midway because that bloody duppatta came in between. But ah, the best moment was when Yash kept standing at her gate in the rain until she went inside and she just couldn't go without turning back and looking at Yash. And that million dollar smile that Aarti and Ansh gave Yash without any of them realizing it.
Oh, and don't worry about Disco Maansi. Perhaps Shobhaa aunty will do the honours of shooting her dead on the behalf of us all.
