Symbolism In The Flashback Scene😊

The beautiful scene was shown in a sepia tint but Arpita's dress colour was highlighted!

In many diverse cultures blue is significant in religious beliefs, brings peace, or is believed to keep the bad spirits away.

Blue conveys importance and confidence without being somber or sinister. This clears that she was a seraphic personality clear of all odds. Blue is seen as trustworthy, dependable and committed, Arpita showcased these qualities in her short life-span!

Also, Blue indicates Supernaturalness ! (Not to be mistaken as mysteriousness -Black)

Blue also signifies water & water represents flow! This signifies Arpita wasnt in Yash's life to stay!

Shubhika thats a wonderful symbolism šŸ‘šŸ‘...Blue also indicates passion and well Yash did love Arpita passionately šŸ˜‰ 😳 whereas in present Aarti was wearing green during her engagement and green indicates fertility and well Yash too this time wants just a mother for his kids ...so I guess the colours Blue and Green were selected for Arpita and Aarti respectively with lots of thought going into it šŸ˜‰šŸ˜³šŸ˜³

Wow, I loved it, especially the part about the flow of water and how that signifies Arpita's impermanence in Yash's life.

Here are my two cents on the flashback 😊

Everything is in black and white except Arpita's saree and her jewellery which is blue. To me this showed that Arpita's memories are the only colour left in Yash's life (I am counting the kids as memories too). However, the fact that she is not totally coloured shows that while he can access the colour when he thinks of her, she is no longer real and hence does not have the power to bring colour to his life. I also thought it was interesting that Arya's engagement rings both reflected red in Friday's episode while here we see Arpita's memory in blue. So Arpita is a place of peace for Yash while Aarti is going to be a cause of tumult. Also, it was a bit strange that there was nobody else at Yash-Arpi's engagement except the two of them. Also we see Arpi putting the ring on Yash but not vice versa so I guess that means that while she still has a hold over him, he no longer holds her.
