When they were climbing the bus, Amar pulled Shakti aside. He pressed her back to the bus and had both his arms around her. Shakti's knew it was Amar, so she didn't shout. Shakti was looking down and Amar slowly made her face him. He said.

Amar : Shaks, this is our first trip together as a couple ...

Shakti blushed hardly at the word couple.

Shakti : Uh, um .. toh what ?

Amar chuckled at her expression.

Amar : So I want this one to be memorable. Kya tum mera saath dogi isse special banane mein ?

He held his hand out. Shakti just nodded and placed her own hand in his. They looked at each other and then were lost in their *look look hawa hawa spell*. Shakti broke it and was about to move, when Amar pulled her back, gave a peck on her cheeks and turned and climbed in the bus. Just before, he was about to move in he looked towards Shakti to check her expression. She was blushing deeply and a faint smile was playing on her lips. She shook her head and went to board the bus as well. Amar just smiled at her and took his seat.

Now, all the others already had their partners except for Amar. But she didn't want to sit there as sab ko pata chal jaayega. So she took another seat. Amar was a little surprised but he soon understood what made her do that.

Seats :

As the journey began, they all started enjoying. They all were singing songs loudly and enjoying. Also songs were playing in the background. But Amar was not enjoying.

Firstly because he was sitting *far* away from his Shaku Bai.

And secondly 'cause she has not joined them in songs. In fact her head was not visible in her seat.

Alisha noticed all this and on purpose took out her cell. She saw a picture and showed it to everyone. It was one of TanHa. She said :

Alisha : Don't the two best friends look good in this one. And look at Sneha, she's hitting him here also. Kitna tang karta hai yeh Shantanu humaari Sneha ko. Aur tab bhi har doosri din inki re dosti ho jaati hai.

Everyone hooted in anticipation and TanHa clicked another photograph of theirs on Shan's cell.

Then she changed the picture. It was one of Arsha. They both were again fighting. Even in the picture. As the phone reached Shakti, ( who was now turning back ) she laughed out loud. Amar was lost in her laughter. It sounded so like music to his ears.

Shakti : Oh God, Kunwar kitna ladte hain hum.

Amar smiled widely at her and when she looked up at him all the events came in front of her eyes and she blushed. She gave the phone back to Sneha ( who had passed it to her ) and turned back in her seat and made herself invisible again.

All this didn't go unnoticed by TanHa and Alisha. Shantanu turned and gave a smile to Amar. He looked at him with curiosity clear in his eyes. Amar gave him an approval smile and TanHa gave him a congratulatory smile. Alisha hit Amar on his head and gave him a 'are-you-seriously-still-sitting-here' look.

Amar smiled sheepishly at her and stood up. He moved towards where Shakti was sitting and looked at her.

He was again lost in her beauty. She had her back towards the window and her legs up on the seat beside her. She has occupied both the seats. She was looking down. He followed her gaze and saw that she was reading a book. She had earphones plugged in her ears and the I-phone was lying in her hand below the book. She was fully concentrating in her book. He looked back at Alisha and TanHa who gave him a 'go-ahead' look. He took a sigh and went ahead.

He bent down and took Shakti's bare legs in his hands and held them securely in his hands. Shakti's hand skipped a beat at this touch. Both could feel the electricity flowing in the air.

Shakti : Um, what are you doing Kunwar.

Amar was just lost in her eyes. He was in his "Shakti dreamland". Shakti pulled him out of it.

Shakti : Kunwar ??!!

Amar : Haan haan ??

Shakti : What are you doing ? ( making beautiful use of her eyes as well )

Amar came dangerously close to her and then whispered "Apne liye jagah bana raha hoon."

Amar smiled at Shakti's dara hua expression and then carefully placed her legs on the floor. Shakti turned in her seat so that she was in the correct sitting position. Amar looked at TanHa and Alisha, gave him a wink, turned back and sat right next to Shakti.

Alisha and Sneha went to the bus driver and handed him a CD which was full of romantic songs perfect for this journey.

As soon as Amar sat down the first song began. It was - Aao Milo Chalein of Jab We Met.

Everyone started hooting as this was the perfect time for such a song to play. Shan and Macce toh even started dancing being joined by Priyanka.

Everyone was enjoying. Even ArSha was enjoying in their unique style.

Amar was staring at Shakti who was calmly reading her book.

Suddenly Kunwar felt a change in Shakti. He saw she had closed her eyes and was enjoying the song. He took out the earphone from one of her ears and put it in his. He was also mesmerized to listen the song. It had been their favourite song since they first met. He also closed his eyes. Yes - it was none other than Khuda Jaane. They both recalled their dance. Their first meeting. Their chemistry. Their friendship which blossomed from that time onwards. They both relived the DID moments. The DID days. The old days. They both were enjoying when the song changed to Dhak - Dhak ( another of Arsha's songs on DID. )

Shakti let out a sigh and kept her head on Amar's shoulder gently, still eyes closed. Amar smiled at her innocence. He carefully placed his arms around her back and waist giving her support. He saw her phone and noticed that the DID folder was playing.

He had known that those were the best days of donoin ki lives. He also knew that whenever reminded of them Shakti became emotional as she missed them badly. So Amar thought of something as he didn't want his Shakti to turn sad.

He took another look at her. She was resting against his shoulder. She looked so fragile. Amar smiled to himself as only he and Alisha knew the real soft Shakti. The one behind who hid behind this strong Shakti. The true Shakti. As wind blew, a strand of Shakti's face landed on her face whereas many of them hit his face. He closed his eyes enjoying the moment. When he opened his eyes he saw that the strand was disturbing Shakti. He moved his hand and placed the strand behind her ear. He then stroked her face with his hands.

Shakti opened her eyes. She saw their position and she straightened herself. She looked at Amar, gave him a smile.

Shakti : Sorry, woh..

Amar : Mujhe pata hai Shaks. You become emotional when it comes to DID. It's no problem love.

As soon as he addressed her with "love", she blushed and gave him a smile.

Shakti : Hm.

Amar understood that she was embarrassed so he quickly changed the topic.

Amar : So Shaks enjoyed for Goa ? The Land of Seas ? The Land of Lovers ?

Shakti looked up at him.

Shakti : Yeah ( smiling shyly )

A faint red reached her cheeks.

Amar ( stroking her cheeks ) : You look very beautiful when you blush.

Shakti smiled and blushed deeper.

Amar chuckled at it and Shakti ducked her head in his chest blushing even deeper. Amar smiled and patted her head.

Shakti ( in a slow voice, a whisper and slowly ) : I love you Kunwar.

He struggled to find words to name the feelings that flooded through him. He was feeling his love for her settle into every portion of his body. He was very happy.

Amar : I love you too sweetheart. You're my life now. I'm so happy you said it. Yourself.

Shakti hugged him tight hiding her face and Amar hugged her back. They stayed like that for a few moments.

Amar broke the hug. He lifted her face with his finger and made her look at him. Never breaking the eye contact, he leaned in. Their lips were just inches away when the bus came to an abrupt stop and then Amar fell on Shakti.

Shakti had closed her eyes. Amar gently planted a kiss on her both the eyes one - by - one. She opened her eyes quickly and saw Amar's face so close to him. She tried to look away but was unable to break the *Look Look Hawa Hawa spell*. She gave up and moved her arms around his neck.

Amar was lost in his eyes. He was happy at this move of Shakti's. He could feel the butterflies in his stomach.

Shakti leaned in and gave a small kiss on his cheek. Amar's eyes widened and he smiled widely. He was shocked. His heart was beating very fast and skipping beats occasionally. His stomach was doing somersaults.

Shakti : Utho Kunwar.

Amar smiled mischievously and moved his head from side to side, symbolising a no.

Shakti : Chodo mujhe.

Amar : Nahi.

Shakti : Please ( making a baby face )

Amar : This wouldn't work sweetheart.

Shakti : Fine, what do you want ?

Amar : Pakka dogi ?

Shakti just nodded.

Amar turned his face and pointed towards his other cheek.

Shakti looked at him questioningly.

Amar : Idhar bhi.

Shakti blushed and then : What ?

Amar : You know exactly what.

Shakti : Kunwar sab dekh leinge, hato.

Amar : Dekhno do.

Shakti : Kunwar chodo na.

Amar ( stubbornly ) : Nahi, pehle mujhe ek kiss do.

Shakti : Kunwar !!

Amar : Shakti !!

Shakti : Please, chodo mujhe.

Amar : Galti se bhi nahi.

Shakti sighed giving up. She leaned in and gave a small kiss on his other cheek as well. She was pulling herself back, when Amar pulled her closer with his one hand which was at her back. He leaned in to kiss her.

*Ahem* *Ahem* *Ahem*
