As the music faded..she slowly turned back and ran away holding Sweetu's little heart in her tiny hands….

Was it a dream? He said he loves me...is it possible? His eyes said something more than just those mere words..something very pure..and his touch!!! The last I remember is I had stopped breathing..am I alive? This feeling…am I in heaven? And why can I feel him here? How come?

She slowly opened her eyes feeling something warm on her cheeks…she tucked her blankie closer thinking it to be a dream! But why does that warmth still surround her? and that soft thing on her cheeks??

Her eyes widened with the realization and she immediately turned around…her lips accidentally brushing over his!

Her heartbeats echoed in her ears as her gaze fell on his face..a smile on his lips! He looked so handsome..umm she was dreaming!!!!

He raised himself on his elbow and winked at her, "good morning shona!"

She smiled stretching herself, "good morning Maan" and her heart still unsteady with that touch! She yawned and closed her eyes again…a few minutes in silence and she sat upright with her big eyes looking at him in shock!!!

He..he was lying beside her..but how..when…why?

"wh..wh…what are you doing here?"

He raised his brows. "geet..its already 9 shona..am hungry and you are still sleeping!"

He made a baby face complaining!. She checked the time…oh god she had never slept this late!!!

She jumped out of the bed and ran to the washroom shouting, "Maan..give me 10 minutes I'll freshen up and make something for you!"

She smiled at her…goodness she never ceases to amuse him and probably that's why he kept falling for her again and again!

She checked herself in the mirror…goodness gracious…she was still in that gown..That means it wasn't a dream!!! it was as real as it could get! Oh My god… she blushed with the thought of being in his arms..forget their dance!!!

She could have stood there all day long if it hadn't been for the knock she heard on the door!

"geet..sweetheart you needn't hurry..its a Sunday and my rumbling tummy can wait!"

She shook her head and took a shower and slipped into a lose t-shirt and her tracks and came out wiping her hair! she walked straight into the kitchen to prepare something for both of them…her heart still unsteady!

"Maan.." she called out1

He sneaked behind her and hugged her from the back throwing away the towel that wrapped her hair and put them aside nuzzling her exposed skin. She giggled!! Somewhere she had accepted his authority over her and she just love giving into his demand without fighting!

She was feeling ticklish. She kept on laughing and he tickled her more not letting her free herself!

Geet (laughing): Maan chodiye please..

Maan: acha? Chod doon?

Geet (making a baby face): umm..

Maan: pehle yeh batao aaj breakfast mein kya bana rahi ho? Tumahre chakkar mein I missed my breakfast!

She immediately turned around and cupped his face, "aisa kyun kiya?"

He was amazed to see that worry for such a little thing. He was just kidding he wanted to have breakfast with her! he pulled her closer and held tighter!

Maan: ab kya karien madam…aap ke bina din ki shuruwat nahi hoti na..!"

She blushed but made a face and smacked his shoulder!

"ab baatein na banayein and let me cook..waise how did you get in here?"

"geet..if you keep running away here and there without telling me..i have to keep a spare key to your flat in case of emergency shweetheart!!! Ab bata bhi do kya bana rahi ho?"

"aaloo ke paranthe!" she replied kneading the dough!

"what??? Pasta nahi hain kya?"

Geet (irritated): aap insaan hain bhi ya nahi? Pasta ke alawa duniya mein khan eke liye aur bhi achi chizein hain Maan!

He cribbed so much that she had to threaten him to shut up and eat or else not eat anything at all!

Later in the evening he took her to the caf and there they met up0 with Dan, Rahul and jess! Of course jess was in their team now! She was shocked at 1^st but then..she loved the whole thing! Raj still called Maan as Mr. Kidnapper and they still had a cold war on that!

When there were few people around, he stole a moment with her at a corner and lowered his lips to hers when preeto just entered and stopped right there!

Preeto: ahem ahem…

He was startled…geet giggled and pushed him away. She was anyways trying to get away from him! Glad preeto came on time!

Preeto (naughtily): if you don't mind Maan…can I borrow your geet for a while?

He made a face and looked away1 geet gave him a "so sad" look and he replied with a "tummhe to baad mein dekh loonga" look. She giggled and walked away!

In the pantry, preeto cupped her face!

Preeto: tum khush to ho na geet?

She blushed and looked down. Preeto smiled and kissed her forehead!

Preeto: he really cares for you geet..a lot! Waise did he propose you?

She nodded and knotted her dupatta still looking down, trying to hide her redness and that smile!

Just then all the girls who were hiding listening to them came out shouting and giggling. Her eyes widened and looked at preeto. She winked ta her! jess was there too! She came running and hugged geet!

Jess: OMG OMG OMG..when did this happen geet?

Geet was struggling with words now!

Geet: i…it…ahh yesterday!

Jess: OMG…Spanish night!!!!

Waitress1: ohh how romantic..

Waitress2: how did you reply?

Geet looked at all those curious eyes and sighed, "I didn't!"

"what??" all shouted together! Shocked!

Waitress 2: OMG why so? Goodness he is soo hottt..and you haven't replied! Oh lord if I were at your place silly geet I'd have said a yes before even he'd have asked!

Geet gave her a stren look. And another girl started drooling on him as he passed by the tainted glass door of the pantry talking to his friends! Soon the room was filled with oohhs and aahhss and "stupid geet"! arrghh she hated all of them…why do they have to look at her Maan? She stood up and shouted, "don't behave like a despo all of you!"

Jess: ohh..why do I feel..something..or rather someone is burning?

They giggled as geet rolled her eyes!

"alright am out of here! You all are crazy…am going home!"

Waitress 4: ohh someone is desperate to be with that hottie!!"

And all the teasing started yet again. She managed to drag jess out of there and get the guys to head back home…how could she have let those girls drool on her Maan han?

Maan, geet and their gang walked into the college..ohh that was usual now. And the crowd near the notice board welcomed them!

It read about the final exams of the final year students to be held in the last week of FEB and about the assignments and presentations to be conducted! Later they realized it was already the last week of the year…Christmas holidays was a day away! They never realized how much time had flown away! Their day went busy with lots and loads of assignments dumped over their heads!!

HOLIDAYS

Well too much to catch up and less time! Geet couldn't have gone to India with all those projects and assignments..ohh she had never even thought about it either! Rahul-jess and Maan-geet romance was in full swing lol! Dan was an exception though!

Geet never replied to his proposal but never denied it either! She just couldn't stop herself from loving him even more and more and he'd never fail to steal a moment or two even in the crowd!

As usual all 4 of them sat in geet's place finishing their projects and stuff. Dan was away with family in the U.S. and Maan babu rarely visited KM! it was only at night he'd show his face!

They sat on the carpet, sprawled on the floor with books and bowls of snacks and chips packets scattered around! Geet's phone rang.

Geet: hello

Dadima: hi beta..kaisi hain aap?

Geet: mein theek hoon Dadima aur aap?

Dadima: ab kya kahein beta..hum to ghar par akele bore ho rahe hain

Geet: wo kyun?

Dadima: Maan kahan apne darshan dete hain beta! Humne socha aapse hi baatein kar lein!

Geet: kya hua hain Dadima?

Dadima: he is always out with his friends and hardly gets back home! I came here for him and look at him..uff!!!

Geet realized what dadi was talking about! somewhere she felt guilty and angry at Maan!

Maan came out of the kitchen holding a coke can. She shot him a glare and continued to talk. Maan looked at jess and she shrugged shaking her head!

Geet: theek hain Dadima..so its done! We are going to spend the rest of the holidays with you!

She finished the call and looked at him sternly!

Maan: ab Dadima ne kya shikayat ki meri?

Geet (angry): do you even care about her?

Maan realized she was too angry!

Geet: how can you just leave her alone and come here like this Maan?

Kawaii observation🤓: umm may be knowingly or unknowingly geet is teaching him to value relations!!!

Maan: but geet..

She just turned away from him making a sad face..may be a layer of tear formed in her eyes!

He went and hugged her from behind and kissed her cheek!

Maan: am sorry sweetheart…I'll make it upto her. promise!

Geet: just leave me Maan..you need to understand things!!!

This was so normal between them..rashul and jess didn't mind!!!

He hugged her closer, "please shona..i accept my mistake.."

She cut him in between, "Blunder, Maan!"

"okay..my blunder..ab itna hi naraz ho to ab saza bhi de do!"

She melted instantly..uff now how is she supposed to stay mad at him? But she kept up her stern face!

Jess just loved to see them fight.even for the silliest reason!! She was amazed see the extent Maan could pamper geet in every possible way..her anger..her happiness and even her ego!!!

Geet turned to face him, "you can't back out from your punishment!"

"okay I won't"

"promise?"

"han baba wo bhi tumhara pakka wala"

"we are going to spend the rest of the holidays with Dadima!"

"WHAT???"

"Maan..grrr whats the problem? 1^st you come here…then stay the whole day and leave Dadima alone and when I ask you to help me clean up..you just make excuses! Its better we shift to your place!!"

"umm okay we will!"

"NOW"

"okay baba…pack up! We all will go and have our lunch at my place!"

Ohh she felt soo happy. She just hugged him and ran to pack things up!!!

"chalein?" she asked when they were ready!

"as you wish madame!!"
