India ratings: ZEE TV moves to No.3, overtakes ColorsThe successful launch of ZEE TV's new fiction 'Punar Vivah' and reduction of ads last week collectively helped ZEE TV overtake Colors in the ratings.
ZEE TV's new strategy in India last week to reduce its commercial breaks time proved well for the channel. It added 43 GRPs. It delivered 222 GRPs (last week 179).'Punar Vivah' launched with a TVR of 2.6 last week.
First time in months, Colors slipped to fourth place. It added 7 points this week, the channel has scored with 200 GRPs (last week 193).
Star Plus remains the market leader despite losing 19 GRPs this week. It managed to deliver 279 GRPs (last week 298).
Sony Entertainment Television Asia was in second place with 227 GRPs (last week 210). Filmfare Awards did well for the channel as it delivered a TVR of 4.6. That's lower than the Colors Screen Awards (5.4) and higher than ZEE Cine Awards (4.4).
In the bottom tier, SAB TV was in fifth with 134 GRPs (last week 141).
At sixth, Life OK delivered 81 GRPs (last week 78).
Imagine TV added 5 points this week to 63 GRPs (last week 58).
Sahara One seems to be doing better on the back of new show launches. It registered 53 GRPs this week (last week 44).
'Rockstar', which premiered on Star Gold on Saturday night proved an average success with a TVR of 2.0.
