I don't know about india but in the west, this is a common practice by drug mule and many have overdosed while carrying the drugs from one country to another. So for the Cvs of the show to telecast something like that, it smacks of irresponsibility.

Druggies by their nature are desperate for their next fix, only the rich could afford endless supplies. All others will beg and steal from their nearest and dearest and given their addiction will do anything for their next fix. So a desperate druggie see's what Ranveer did, s/he will do that in desperation to earn money or to wipe off their account. We in the West constantly see this in the news and documentaries. I just found it shocking because it might give ideas to the poor who are drug addicts and need to earn some quick cash.

As for the poll, no don't know anyone who does drugs (unless they are hiding it very, very well!😃).
