| I had participated in the 'Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj' talent contest. I made it to the top three. Having trained under Kishore Namit Kapoor, and choreographers Ganesh Acharya, Shiamak Davar and Ahmed Khan for the contest helped me a lot. Before this I had participated in 'Antakshri' (Zee). I had got an offer for the show 'Palki' and a film with Ken Ghosh which I didn't accept. I still regret that. Then I hosted the fashion show 'Frame 3' (Zee). I have also done a Punjabi film. • 'Kabhi to Nazar Milao' UTV was searching for a girl to play Sunaina Mathur for the show 'Kabhi to Nazar Milao' for two years. I went for the auditions and got selected. But I was in two minds. I didn't have a theatre background. The role of a blind girl was complex and the body language had to be right. • Sunaina is me But I am so glad to have accepted the role. This character is very close to me. I was made for Sunaina and vice versa. She's confident, just as I am. I was good at studies and played hockey at the national level from Punjab. I have been giving tuitions since the age of 13. At one point of time I wanted to be a part of the armed forces too. • Love I believe in the saying that, 'Somebody, somewhere is waiting for you'. Love is serious business. It can change your life forever or destroy you. • Success I guess success is 50 percent hard work and 50 percent luck. These days it's more about luck. Destiny has brought me in the glam world and I will make the most of it. |
