Everything depicted in this post is out of my own figment of imagination and is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings or sentiments on any level and if anyone feels hurt due to this post, Please accept my heartfelt apologies.

Hi everyone,

First of all I would like to thank and congrats everyone associated with this forum on your efforts for making this probably the best forum on the net and the pains you take to update the information on the show and its characters and actors.😛😛😛

Now coming to my point, you must be imagining why I named this topic 'The Divine Parliament'.

Actually, when I was a kid, I was really fascinated by Shiva after watching all the mythos and religious shows on TV and also my father, who was a staunch devotee of Shiva, used to tell me his stories and about Kailash and I used to imagine, What if Kailash is the Parliament of the Gods, where all the workings and administration of the universe is controlled from.😊

This is bcoz only Kailash is portrayed as having gunas staying there with Shiva to serve him, Vishnu and Brahma are always shown to dwell alone in Vaikunth and Brahmlok resp. except for Laxmi (who is Vishnu's consort) and Saraswati (who is Brahma's disciple) are shown living there with them, so I thought Kailash to be the Divine Parliament which houses the Government of the Gods.

Now, in this Divine Government, Shiva himself takes the role of the President,😊 with Brahma as his Vice-President and Vishnu as his Prime Minister. Devi Sati/Parvati is the First-Lady and Kartikeya and Ganesh the First-Sons.

Nandi is the chief of the Presidential Bodyguards, with the 'Gunas' working as the 'Sarkari Karamcharis'. King of the Deities, Indra acts as the Home Minister with the other Deities, like, Surya, Agni, Chandra, Vayu etc. working as the other ministers of this Divine Government. The God of Death, Yama and his yamdoots act as the Police/Jailer (bcoz they have the duty to arrest and deliver the souls to 'Swarg' or 'Narak' to serve their resp. sentences based on their deeds) and Shani Dev acts as the Judiciary as he has the duty to judge and deliver punishments to humans based on their wrong-doings. The 'Saptrishis' act as the President's Advisors.

Also, the Demons serve as the Opposition in this Divine Parliament. I also think that after the end of each Mahayug (the Satya-Yug, Treta-Yug, Dwapar-Yug and Kali-Yug combined together constitute one Mahayug), the roles of the Deities and Demons are interchanged, i.e. in the next Mahayug, the demons form the new government and take on the roles of Indra, Surya, Chandra etc. and the deities (of the previous Mahayug) become the demons and serve as the opposition. Again I would like to clarify that I am not implying that those forming the Government of any country are Deities and those sitting in the opposition are Demons, it's just a fictional imagination on my part only intended as entertainment and I apologize to anyone who may feel hurt due to this.

Anyhow, coming back to the point, What do you think about this?Please tell me your views on this topic and how do you think this government functions and what are its duties.

Also please mention the name of a Deity and the portfolio you think he/she should or is handling in this Divine Cabinet.

Very good observation & quite interesting POV. Except role reversal part, everything else is fine. But Shivji is Bholenath, so whoever is punished in the court in Kailash, will appeal to him & will get away with with a solution of his problem or reduced punishment. In fact at times those guilty might be granted liberation (lucky souls).

There are 2 main Institutions which determines the course of action of anyone be it deva, asura or human. 1st is their Janma-kundali based on placement of 9 Graha, 2nd is their Karma-kundali, based on their actions performed which can be predestined or are done at their own free will.

The Divine parliament you have mentioned really exists, for Shivji believers at Kailash, for Vishnuji, Krishna believers at Vaikunth or Goloka, for Shakti belivers at her Dham, the respective Gods are the presidents.

In this Divine parliament, Shakti is at work, Ichha shakti is the office bearer's will to controll & run the world smoothly,Gyan Shakti is the judge's brain, decision, deciding further course of action of the accused & Kriya Shakti decides the fruits to be given in form of Gift, blessing or punishment.

Thank you guys for such kind words and warm welcome🤗, I'm truly overwhelmed.😳

And MNX12, about the role-reversal part, I was merely saying that in the context of rebirth, at the end of Mahayug all beings including, Devas, demons, animals, trees everything dies and are reborn in the next mahayug, so it's quite possible that those born as demons in previous mahayug are now born as devas and vice-versa, I mean god won't be that partial towards someone to always make him born as a demon in every birth unless they have done some really bad deeds. Anyway, its my personal opinion and I cannot and will not force it upon you or someone else.

Btw your bholenath comment was a killer, it made me roffl 🤣 , seriously it could happen, he may pardon anyone out of his sheer bholapan😉, and I also agree with you that all different Sect followers perceive their god to be the 'Divine President' but I mentioned Kailash here bcoz, as I also mentioned in my post, Kailash is the only place which is shown to have Gunas working there to serve Shiva, you know like our parliament has govt. officials and clerks working there, just like that.

And TOTAL-ROMANTIC, I have the perfect remedy for you, watch tonight's epi and may be you'll get your voice back😉

Don't take my thoughts seriously, all of us share our variety of thoughts which makes the topic more interesting. I personally love God aspect, don't want them to be asuras. Being Asuras they get many opportunities to improve, change & progress in thier life.

This parliament unlike ours is the most efficient & the best in the Universe👏

I liked Kailash being the HQ, because Kailash exists on earth, we can go there, but other places like Vaikunth, Goloka's location is not known to us.

I would say each thing u wrote in there was shear brilliance...very true..
The very Thought of it is awesome. The God's indeed are our true Rulers and teh best part is we need not vote😆 there is no need for it.as all of them are par excellence in there own fields...i dnt think there would be any interchange in this Govt as ppl are satisfied with there services.😳

And abt the Yama thingie that was umm like ..something like *DImaakh ki batti jalgayee* kind of edifying Moment for Me.😆

Abt the portfolio thing:
Obviously Lakshmi ji should handle Finance ministry
Devi Sarswati must handle the Education ministry.

I think this kind of innocence as a kid ( or even now) is very rear ..a word comes to my mind..*Nishchal mann* which is a sign of a pure minded human.
