ArYa: Hockey, Lights & Mens Loo.

I just love love love the detailing of this show – especially in mutual chemistry and dialogues of artists. You see it when Aarti sends Yash into a long drawn silence when she explains to him like Shataabdi Express that just why she is not going to pay him back for the lights. Not just random defensive woman's cribbing –she was talking LOGIC and while her future husband had to give in to the Hockey Queen , her cute to be bro-in-law was mighty impressed by the 'Lady Gundi' ( and to think she will be his bhabhi soon). The scene where that lecherous piece of non-biodegradable garbage first eyes Aarti lustily , builds up the situation by getting up , close and personal with her and then, dares to touch her. The slap comes with proper build up and reason. You feel so horrible as a woman and for Aarti that you want to punch that lech to the floor. The sensitive scene between Aarti and her parents-in-law where they apologize for their wrong choice of a prospective groom who goes carnal merely on seeing Aarti's beauty. The detailing that came out of this scene was that we came to know that Aarti is an orphan.
The best was saved for the last. ArYa bumping into each-other in the mens' loo passage in the train. The co-act of the two actors was so natural. She was not even looking at him and he had no idea that she is the same Rose Kudi . Yet , the scene came off with that cute quotient to their discomfort factor. What a contrast. A few minutes ago , ArYa were blasting each-other on the phone and suddenly , they are mouthing sorry and excuse me to each-other. Chemistry, subtle man-woman vibrations – ArYa come across as a package deal. I mean we have had such few scenes of ArYa but the parallels drawn between them, their lonely tragic lives , their unsaid cosmic connection endears them to you.
Best scene : Aarti lecturing Yash right-left-center on the phone and Yash listening to her logical and justified blah-blah with a straight face as though he hears her rave , rage and rant everyday. I seriously love this couple and I guess we get the Dargah scene tomorrow. Yay!
P.S- Cook Dewarji is so enamoured by his Hockey Queen Lady Gundi Bhabhi. Applause. Haha.
