After reading your post my initial reaction was...Takurs will be caught between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand they can get what they've already wanted...to get rid of Prats from K's life saying she deserves to have a child of her own.. Or they could want her to stay put so society never finds out K is the one with the problem.

Will they ever show Kriya going back for a second opinion and decide on a course of treatment? Or have they decided to can the idea of parenthood for Kriya given Pearl Gray didn't have much luck on another show with young actor/actresses unwilling to play parents.

What is this discrimination then? I know most women themselves wouldn't
dream of doing such a thing, we're all raised that way. Women are not
just expected to stay in a childless marriage, they are also expected to
bear with violent husbands, cheating husbands, drug addicts, no-good
gamblers etc. If a woman develops these same characteristics, would her
husband be expected to continue living with her, or he will be expected
to divorce her?

Shouldn't the solution to the above problems be part of Star Plus's "Rishta Wahi Soch Nayi" rather than the constant 2nd marriage issue?

if a woman adopt these habits on the spot she will b left by her hubby and agree wid u Dii 2nd marriage is only not the solution!

Good Post
In modrn society especially educated couples don't remarry for the sake of a child. They adopt a child if they like children. If the wife wants to go through pregnancy, they may get a sperm donor from one of the family members or from an unknown sperm donor. If the couples don't love each other,if they want to get separated, they get a divorce.
There are many other couples who do not want to adopt a child either. My own sister has no children. She did not adopt any children either. I know a few friends who have adopted child inspite of having their own too.
As for Saxenas, they might suggest adoption. They will never suggest Pratiga to get remarried.
As for Thakurs, they might even kill P if she tries to get remarried because of their so called honor.
Pratigya and Krishna love each other unconditionally, so remarriage will not happen.

Right... divorce then a second marriage should happen only when a couple doesn't love each other.

I wonder why Krishna is not considering adoption? There are hundreds of thousands of babies looking for loving and caring parents.

Right now..Cvs have two options in which they can move the track ahead..
One is of course going for treatment and the other as you said Adoption...

Once they find out the truth, Thakurs will want Pratigya to stay put, no matter how much they hate her and are willing to get rid of her. Also, they know pretty well that P has no intention of leaving anyway (until Krishna is with her, that is)

I don't think that the idea of parenthood will be canned. These are just tactics to delay it. Parenthood inevitably means a leap in the near future, and that means losing your leads. However, they won't have many more tracks to show if they just can the idea, so Kriya will become parents sooner or later.

This is what i wrote in mah previous post ..😆
Thakurs always expects something good from the womans for the welfare of their mens in their family ...they will never let pratigya to do another marriage ..as it would affect their respect in the society ..they will assume that people or samaj will think that their bhau has ran away from them nd married to some other man with that there respect would go ...so for there respect they won't allow pratigya to get married again with some one else.

Its definitely double standards as far as women are concerned...

Don't forget, in our society and in many around the world, the family lineage is supposed to propagate through the male and not the female... so male infertility is a huge issue...

If the woman is infertile, then the easy solution is to get the man re-married... however if the problem is with the man, his wife cannot re-marry and beget a child, since the child anyway would not belong to his lineage.. it would be as good as a divorce and re-marriage..

After the Takur seniors react, KN is bound to taunt him but K's reaction to the truth and blindsided by it (if he hasn't overheard already) would be the reaction that matters and how he reacts to Prats knowing she withheld the truth all this time.😕
