Rashi and her Mom's love

Well Munni.. Very thought provoking questions there I tell you..😊

For the first one if she is right in not meeting her mom, I am just thinking as I type here..

- Rashi did not want to lose the opportunity to better her position in MB - Selfishness
- She knew her mom would want her to work if she went to visit her - Lazyness
- But she sent Gopi instead because she knew Gopi will work and do everything her mother wanted her to - Cunning and quick.

Well Rashi could have had a lot of chances with Hetal even if she visited her mom and if Gopi goes with her she would not have had to work anyway.. So that does not seem to be the real reason. Maybe she knew her mom would do nothing but eat her brains out by talking about her gym and blaming Kinjal and the Modi's.. So she just convinced herself that her mom is alright or was acting and exaggerating (Nothing new..) Hence did not visit..

But that leads to another question.. So Rashi does know her mom is wrong and is a dramabass.. Then why listen to her? I have no idea.. But remember Rashi listens to her mom in all that she thinks that will help her.. Not in the others..

So coming to your second question.. Why did she take the police compliant back?

Gopi's words seemed to have done the magic.. Or maybe Rashi realized quite correctly that if the case was filed and the police took any further action, her entry into MB would be closed forever. She is smart that way and knows that sometimes her mom does give stupid ideas.. I am pretty sure that her goldfish MIL and her son would not have forgiven her so easily if the police case had been taken forward.. More than that they would have been in the war path of Aham Parag Modi.😉
So I guess like this time when she decided for herself not to listen to her mom, Rashi decided not to listen to Urmila then too..

So what is proved is that Rashi does have a brain of her own and can take decisions on her own when it suits her.. She is just too lazy to use that brain of hers and lets the others do the thinking for her until she is sure it will benefit her. The minute she realizes that it is not going to, she will immediately plan things herself..😕

I have read somewhere that we do not have to fear those who spew evilness openly. But, what we need to fear the most is when there is a woman who is childish but is also selfish. There have been times when Rashi has acted like she has no conscience and I times when it looked like she was affected.
She reminds me of this one character in a Hercule Poirot novel. The character is an actor and she is childish like Rashi as well as selfish. There are a couple of paragraphs when Poirot explains why he suspected her.. His explanations make complete sense and Rashi character suits it to the T..

Thanks for the great answer... I hate rashi ... for listen to that witch of a mother... I don't care to much for kinjal , but I love it when she gives it to urmil ... just love it.
