I thought Koki had a mobile phone as well. Why didn't Ahem call her on that? Or have i got it wrong?

So true, why did he ring the house phone? I just remembered something most of the time his mum answers the house phone, so he is used, when she's at home to ring the house phone, if it was Meethi who answered she would have said their left and are going into the car, and then he would have hung up and ring her on her mobile.

I think he would have expected that if there was a problem then Rashi would have said they had left the house. But Rashi cut the call. She is going to use this as an excuse and say the line was faulty, I think.
