Oh yes, coming back to topic, I hate Ekta's revenge machines too......Sorry to sound so regressive, but I like the idea of Men taking revenge and Woman being all caring and sweet and nice.....something which I can never be in all my life!

Again coming back to topic, I was just putting across a point of view....I have posted elsehwere that Bani is not really capable of revenge.....and that too with Jai???? I mean, she loves him to death....It would be a total OOC thing if Bani turns into some kind of a Maha-Kaali trying to even out Bhairav Walia's head!

But at the same time, Bani won't let go of it......She will continue staying with Jai till Massi goes away and refuse to accept his love.....

Hey, you guys forgot an important thing....Remember the Astrologer's Prediction : That Jai's hands showed a major accident....Now, I am sure it was in reference to a future accident and not the one that happened! But the same astrologer also predicted a lifetime of happiness and a very fulfilling happy married life for Bani and a husband who's love will be her greatest strenght!

Could it be that, Bani goes away from Jai's life and he has a major accident and Bani comes back to him......

I remember a lovely and emotional scene from the movie Tum Bin, where the Hero Shekhar who was guilty of accidentally killing the Heroine's Fiancee, confess's his love to her on the phone and then tells that he had killed her Fiancee....and then he breaks down crying on the phone and suddenly is hit by a speeding truck......(He is drunk and is wandering in a highway)

The Herione forgets all misgivings and rushes to be at his side in the Hospital and tells him that what she has lost has been lost and she doens't want to lose him now.....

OMG, it was one of the classiest confession scene I had seen.......I wish something on these lines happen.....If Jai has an accident, then I guess it will even out things.....

PS: You know why I used the Gujrati word "Ben" today, my Khabari told me that Ram teases Prachi and calls her "Bani Ben" on the Sets!😆 My God, such a prankster.......😆

As regards mercy killing there are always two sides to this issue. While one side firmly believes it is murder the other side believes it is better for the person to be free from a fate worse than death.

Maybe in the first part they have shown one side of the issue according to Sandy's view. Then they may show the other side of the issue - if in fact something like that happened. That way Ekta can show both sides in this serial to give voice to her beliefs and in reply to people who opposed it when she showed it before.

Also Jai would not have pulled the plug on a vertilator himself - a doctor has to be involved to do something like that. Sandy's statement in the episode is just the tip of the iceberg - I am sure there is a lot more to the issue than that.

They put up the murder theory as a dhamakedaar cliffhanger for the weekend so viewers stay on edge.

They can then show Bani debating both sides and finally siding with Jai on the issue and forgiving him. However, she can still be angry at him for hiding such an important matter from her and treating the 3 sisters badly and putting her through so much torture. Pia could be shown to take the other stand of not forgiving Jai and the sisters would be in different directions.
