Even though we have not had any Gohem scenes today, we have been peppered with scenes that were changing from interesting to intruging to mindblowing of Ahem spiralling into utter frustation.
Through the scenes we have had nuances of the past and present of Ahem juxtaposed - Meeti helping out, as Gopi did, and him unable to be himself.
He moved from being disappointed to being upset to being a completely and utterly frustrated Ahem. His unanswered phone calls had not helped him at all instead it aggravated his frustration further. He reached a point where he had become paralysed in his own bedroom. He realised that without Gopi he cannot find any of his things.
The flip side was Meeti helping him out, as Gopi did in her earlier days of marriage, but he responded to her harshly and got angry along the way.
These two thoughts just shows the range that Ahem crossed for him to see Gopi's worth today. He realises that he is totally reliant on Gopi for each and every of his needs. He cannot do anything without her by his side. He has unknowingly let her into his world where she has taken over both his physical things in their room like the dresser, his bed, his cupboard and his emotional self too, being his mind and tugging his heart.
With this I am up for Friday night drinks, are you? With Gopi's promise to keep away from Ahem and with this unwarranted visit of Gopi to help Urmila, this separation is having a major impact on Ahem. It is making him realise that Gopi is valuable to him, that he too cannot live without her and that he has needs for her. He will want to see closure with this unnecessary separation.
Things to note about today's Ahem and love:
* Previously his workspace was his bed. Ever since he gave this up to Gopi he has worked from the couch and his sofa. He could have made use of the bed but he has physically kept this space for her.
