Vintage Update: 28 and 29 April 2010

Hello Dutta-Diwanees and Muffins. 😃

I have to confess that it is my love for Dutta Shreeram Patil and addiction to Mishal Raheja's acting that gave me the strength to watch these two episodes and complete the WU's. Many a times I was tempted to fast forward the episodes and concentrate on the Dutta/Mishal scene. 😳

Written Update: April 28, 2010

Bored Panditji (wishing it was AS and him) is chanting the mantras while the others look on. Dutta in his Dulha finery waiting like a good boy for the vidhis. Naku has a flashback with dutta reassuring her that he will forget all his past sorrows and start a new life with Supriya. Here we get a flash of the young, simple and smiling Dutta Patil.

Fakey Bride is required but ooh la la she is missing. Well it takes all of them a long time to realize that Koopriya is missing'but then who cares for Koppe (rubbish). Baaji askes Naku but a terrified Naku remains silent, remembering the blast. Dutta getting impatient first, followed by anger at her silence and finally the volcano erupts. He slowly lowers the white cloth steadily looking at Naku.. then throws the cloth and the garland to the ground walks up to her. I would have died (with joy) if Dutta had walked up to me..gusse mein bhi super hot!!!!!

Dutta instinctively knows that something is very wrong. A kind of ESP between Tasha. He asks angrily..fume..fume😡if it is some kind of a joke?...Why is she not speaking up..? Then Naku's " Ab tai kabhi wapas nahin aayegi" (Thank God for small mercies'imagine jhaloing Sups trying to romance Dutta for even an episode longer) Effortless acting by Mishal in bringing out the range of emotions swiftly, with finesse. Girls please don't miss the close up of the iris of Mishal's both eyes. Ani😊.watch out for those beautiful, perfect and well manicured hands.

The Queen of Vamps, Kala (AG's acting is superb) waits expectantly for the disastrous situation to develop, savoring each moment of Dutta's pain yet all the time pretending to be the concerned Tai. Leela looks smug, superior and bored throughout the episode. Dumbelle Roops can't decide what her expression should be'. Basically it is the Evil Trio's day out

AS, Baabi (pallu stuffing), Sups Parents, Kishore et al are shocked😲.most of them cry. However, there is hardly any variation in their expressions throughout the episode. Yes, Suds looks slyly constipated.

The body arrives. Dutta walks towards it, goes down on his knees and sits down, removing his turban. Dutta's expressions from shock to disbelief to pain and finally to controlled cold rage. Mishal's as DSP is a WOW again 👍🏼He makes DSP appear hurt and fragile yet angry and lethal at the same moment.⭐️ Naku crying constantly for the pain and shattered dreams of Patil Saab and wonders how she can sumbhalo him. Well that's true love.. I guess.

The insane and laughing old lady comes in with her abuses and curses. Dutta is too numb to react. Does Dutta believe that he does not deserve happiness because his hands are colored with blood?

The Nikamme BGs can't hold her back as usual. The BGs remind me of ugly black and useless pillars at the entrance of PN. Baaji drags the woman out of the scene. The trio and their glycerin tears continue. Kala's reminds me of a slithering snake trying to console Dutta.

Baaji's mobile rings and we get a glimpse of the alert and smoldering Dutta bhau. (Brilliantly enacted by Mishal again.) The inspector tells baaji that it was not an accident but a bomb was planted in the car. Dutta throws the mobile in anger .the fiery volcano has erupted.

Baaji informs Dutta (and everyone) that Supriya was killed deliberately and it was not an accident. To say that Dutta is angry is putting it mildly'.He is infuriated, livid, outraged and fuming at the thought that someone had the gall to attack a person from his home, someone close to him and a person under his protection. (Superb performance by Mishal since Dutta and MR are temperamentally opposite. I remember in one of his interviews, MR had said that his mother would worry that he had to portray so much of gussa.)

Inspite of his fury, Dutta hears Sups parents crying in the background and realizes that if he has lost his bride to be, they have lost their daughter. He goes up to them with folded hands humbly asks for forgiveness. He holds himself responsible for putting Koopriya in danger.

It is heart breaking to watch Dutta blame himself. He sits next to Sups fake body, apologizes for putting her through hell and atone for his sins.

A livid Dutta wants to Baaji to search the houses of all his enemies and friends and bring the culprit alive in front of him. He wants revenge and says the murderer will beg for death but Dutta will make his fate even worse than death. He becomes emotional and requests Baaji with folded hands. An angry screaming Dutta is ok with Baaji but his Bhau breaking down is something Baaji is unable to handle.

DSP wants those responsible to be brought in front of him within two hours. Baaji promises and keeps up his promise as Koppe-Mawali couple do get caught in the next episode.

The common thread in his affairs of the heart, with reference to Keema, Kupriya and later Naku (albeit frame), Dhokha and humiliation calls for revenge...your thoughts...??

The scene shifts to Leela and Roops, now running scared. Kala trying to keep them from giving away the plan to Dutta. Baaji searches high and low for the culprit.

Dutta walks into the Darkness of his bedroom with painful flashbacks tormenting him. The simple, boy next door, Dutta Patil that had surfaced temporarily is again buried under humiliation and despair.

Least said about Koppe and Mawali the better. Sups pea-sized brain couldn't register the danger surrounding them. Run, run and save your life first silly girl 'romancing mawa can wait.

In these episode MR performance was brilliant. The way he gets angry at Naku and then vulnerably say: tell me you are joking…was heart breaking. 😭

Then when Supriya's body come and a tear very slowly escape from his eye…you just felt the pain Dutta was feeling.😭
