Pyar ke do… revolves around rebirth and love. Do you relate to the concept?
I am a firm believer in karma and I also believe that rebirths happen, why and how, I really am not sure. So when I heard the script, I thought it was very interesting and accepted the role.

Which of the two characters do you relate to, Shyama the village girl in your previous birth or Radha the modern day woman you are reborn as?
I would relate more with Shyama. She's innocent and trusts people very easily, which I find very close to my own personality. I also relate to Radha in a way because I am as close to my family as she is.

Was television something you always wanted to do?
I have done a lot of modeling earlier. I was a Gladrags finalist in 2000 and also won the Miss Beautiful Body title. Acting was something I have always been into, be it at school or at the college level. Initially, my parents were apprehensive about my decision to take up acting as a career, but now they have come to realise how passionate I am about it and support me a lot.

Roles like the one you are portraying require a lot of chemistry between the characters. How do you and Indranil Sen Gupta get along?
It was difficult initially because he just wouldn't talk. I presumed he was a big snob. I was a bit scared because the role required good chemistry between the actors, and we weren't even talking. Then slowly we all got to know each other, and things became a lot more easier.

It's being said that your differences with Ekta is the reason why you no longer are a part of Kasauti Zindagi Kay?
That's not true. I was playing Sneha's friend and the character wound up long back.
