A while passed in silence, where Nupur felt an alien sensation running through her body after his compliment and Mayank took a deep breath, cursing him on let himself lose composure with her nearness, but at the same time he was stealing glances, affirming the belief that how right his compliment was.

"umm okay ..", she smiled, "lets give a pause to my praises and start yours', even you an amaz ..
"okay stop, we should stop talking turns in praising each other", he frowned and started looking outside and Nupur pouted , "that was not fair!, I had to praise you", she frowned and followed his line of sight and Mayank again stole a view of an utterly cute pouting sight.
"okay if not praises, then I have something else to say", she took a deep breath and Mayank turned to her with a smile, "please, go ahead.."
"can we strengthen this truce with a friendship", she smiled and looked at him hopefully while for a moment he thought anything refusing to this smile is utterly impossible for him, "please ..", she added, "u know today for the first time you have talked to me, and trust me I always wanted to do it but you never allowed, can we be friends .. please .."
She again ended her conversation with a hopeful smile but Mayank took a deep breath, "Nupur I do not form relations, because with relations comes liability, and I don't think I can take the responsibility of a friendship of a sensitive girl like you, I am sorry", he smiled but yet again Nupur felt her eye pockets getting wet, "but we can remain a friendly teacher and student duo", he smiled fully and turned towards the rain while Nupur took a deep breath to swallow that tear, making a note of one thing.
