GK VM: Aur Ho ... (Meri Bebasi Ka Bayaan Hai!)

Here goes a VM after the longest time... but this song's been stuck in my head for Kesar since I heard it, and it's haunted my gym playlist so perpetually! I literally start my day with a coffee, a run, and this song now days!

OMG OMG Jzeee!!!!!! *fangirls* I was about to make a vm on this song because it was oh so so fitting on Kesar!!!! *jumps up and down* It was fab fab fab!! Hot stuff!!!! ☺️reserving for now... going to make a long comment!!! 😃 and I am first to comment! *smug*

He sat there wounded, his hand falling feebly in his lap the letter he had been clutching almost desperately mere moments ago now lay loosely in his hands.. the anger vented.. the ache consuming his heart once again bringing back the decade old pain...

Bas jal raha na iss ghari

He was there again in his room, angry and restless.. the conflict stark clear in those eyes that were speaking more then they let on.. speaking of disbelief and anger as to how can she just walk away by admitting defeat and not fight back.. he had gotten what he had wanted but he couldn't understand the emotion that welled inside him, the emotion that was not of victory but of the fear of loosing her... the shades marvelous as he threw her picture away in anger and frustration not wanting to see the face that could twist him from the inside with one look, one gaze.. making him want to shake her one moment and lay his head on her feet the next, the flames being a mirror of the fire that burnt within him.. the fire born of love and hatred.. where in one moment he was throwing everything that came within his reach and in second where he fell broken and shattered tired of fighting his demons.. tired of fighting the voices that chanted away in his head of her betrayal, the forever faithful heart bleeding..

Rus hasrat ka nichode do

Kas bahoon mei aa todh do

Slave of his desires, his want, he can't help but touch her wanting to hurt her in one moment and wanting to grasp her so tightly in the another as if wanting to break her.. like as if he wants to mold himself into her and I loved loved how it turned out Jzee how suddenly he reached out and took hold of her so tightly and in the next bit with Gulaal falling against the door, crying..

Is lamhe kia kar jao

I loved loved what you showed here Jzee! How he wants to hurt her like she hurt him but cant see her crying as well because that hurts him as well! And how he caught hold of her hand hurting her with his tight grasp and letting go in another because his hold was hurting her *sigh* marvelous marvelous shades here Jzee!!! And loved how you showed how he removed his arm from underneath her fingers as if he loathed her touch and in the second he was rushing to save her ultimately in which he had to hold her in his arms

Aaa this bit was awesome! God that pent up shout of Gulaal to the skies speaking of the frustration and sheer helplessness that was eating him away from the inside! Screaming with all his might asking for some respite from God, from Gulaal herself to take away the hollowness, the restlessness from inside him and give him some peace! he was such a tormented soul with and without her!!

Aanch ki ore badhe

I loveee this lyric and the scene turned out quite perfectly to this one how the fire had consumed them both taking them towards an edge.. mostly him because he lost all control that night!

Aur mile
Hum aur bhi jal jaaye

I don't know why you picked this scene here Jzee.. was it because of the intense gazes they shared that you put it or was it because of what happened in that scene that you used it how Kesar shred every layer of Gulaal's baring her very soul in front of her which was an intimacy in itself how he discovered her and crossed all those walls that she had put around herself getting as close as no one ever had to her making her most vulnerable.. he touched a deep chord within, it was like he had stomped through all those walls stripping her of everything she had held close, the lies the illusions she had told herself for over a decade bringing forth the woman she had hidden inside of her.. a woman who had desires and dreams of her own. "aur mile hum aur bhi jal jaye" I think I perceived quite correctly here what you were trying to show, can you elaborate more to the part aur bhi jal jaye here? I want to understand it more..

I loved the sequence of scenes here, him meeting her for the first time and then the mandir scene where he saw her again after days and felt like as if he was seeing her for the first time like as if an entire decade had passed since he had last seen her and he couldn't seem to get enough of her*sigh*

The photography scene turned out beautifully Jzee! His laugh disguising the pain inside him as he looked at the photo that spoke of their future to him and his heart aching with the thought how those moments stolen from fate would come to an end

And I loved the build up you showed to his accident how his pain of staying away from her finally took over him and did you imply here that he'd rather die then live a life without her? That maybe death would offer him the respite that he never got an end that would finally bring peace to his restive soul? Amazing amazing thought here Jzee!! Loved the rush of memories here, the helpless smile sent her away, his pleading her to not to leave him and then the part of aur mile hum and her molding into him both consumed in pain that was one and the scene you showed of Gulaal removing his hand gripping her wrist with her burning the same hand in the fire and him loosing consciousness... beautiful connection here!

Um i think that is all and it got pretty long! Yikes! I dont even know how much sense I made here... most of it is plain crazy chatter on my part.. 😆 would just say I loved the many shades you showed of kesar here and a lovely vm girl! 👏 Keep it up!! And btw have you heard the song O saiyaan and abhi mujh mei kahi of Agneepath? The former fits perfectly from Gulaal's pov as it speaks of a woman who lost everything but then someone came in her life and gave her a reason to live again to be happy once again and the latter is perfect for Kesar! hope you liked the review and i hope it makes sense

JZee 🤗...this is amazing and I am speechless and in awe...what a master piece you made to show each and every shade and mood of kesar...simply superb, awesome n wonderful VM 👏...had to admit I have seen this almost 10 times by now and its one of favorites now...you made my day yaar...

Hey Jzee🤗,thank you for a lovely treat on Saturday morning …ok..noon but the first thing you see when you switch on your laptop after getting up and that makes your day….

Ok this is nothing bit Kesar unleashed, just perfect synchronisation of scenes with lyrics that definitely so Kesar…I have already watch it few times and it's going to be repeated god knows how many times before end of the day,I really feel sorry for my poor other half who will have to put up with my craziness but that's the story of all weekends so nothing new….

I liked the sync "cheen lu ya chod tu" best but all the scenes that you selected did emulate his inner conflict that so suited the lyrics…brilliant…..😍

This isn't going to replace by top favourite from Kal ho na ho…you just did excellent job with that one, I really don't have words to describe that one, just that it's on my phone and I would never ever get rid of it….but that's not to undermine this one,this comes close, really close…it's true that you understand this character so well it's shows on all your work be it VM,OS or analysis of scenes…I know Piyu has already claimed title of you craziest *pankha* but I can be second na…or that's gone too😕

Jzee🤗this was great.I love this song so very much.Perfect for Kesar, his junoon and his complex emotions for Gulaal.I loved all the scenes that you used.Every scene portraying different emotions of Kesar😳 but my fav is the way you used the intro scene and the mandir scene for the line "tujhe pehli baar main milta hoon har dafaa"-I loved that.The photo wala scene comes a close second and all the sepia scenes towards the end were great.I loved it a lot.
